If we even thought we'd sell him for big money before this, I think those plans just went out of the window with the defeat last night. I think we've tasted blood with this CL appearance, and the club realise that to make such deep runs, they need to hold on to their game changers. Pogba belongs in that category, and I can see the club force their hand if it comes to a Barca offer, or player transfer request. An unhappy player if at would even be the case is not unhappy once they are back with the grind, playing with their teammates. Look at Guarin and Rooney as examples.

Pogba will flop at barca just like Ibra.. great players who are not suited for their game style.
1st, Pogba is not leaving so stop saying things like "Pogba will flop at Barca" like its a given hell go there.

2nd, he would absolutely not flop there. he would be their best midfielder if he would go there

Barca: 'Pogba is an objective'
by Football Italia

Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu confirmed Juventus star “Paul Pogba is one of our objectives.”
The patron was fresh from celebrating the Treble, completed on Saturday night by beating Juve 3-1 in Berlin.
“Pogba is a great player and it’s true he is one of our objectives,” Bartomeu told Telefoot.
“Obviously we are interested in Pogba, but I cannot say any more than that. We cannot sign anybody before January, so I can’t say more.”
Barcelona are subject to a transfer embargo after breaching FIFA rules on deals with players aged under 18.

The Blaugrana are finding a way around that, having this week secured Aleix Vidal from Sevilla for around €10m.
He won’t be available to play until January 2016.
Meanwhile, Juve have repeatedly made clear they have no intention of selling Pogba, who at 22 has a price-tag of €100m.
The Bianconeri have no financial problems and reaching the Champions League Final boosted their revenue this season by €100m.

Pogba: 'I want Champions League'
By Football Italia staff

Paul Pogba took defeat to Barcelona badly, but the Juventus midfielder still “hopes to win the Champions League one day.”

The 22-year-old had strong penalty appeals during the 3-1 loss in Berlin on Saturday night.

“It hurts to lose, especially as it was my first Final,” he told Canal+ when arriving for international duty with France.

“We were confident and we could’ve won the match. We were able to equalise and when it was 1-1 there should’ve been a penalty for the foul on me, but the referee didn’t spot it.

“Compliments to the Spaniards, they deserved it. I learned from the experience. I had a good look at the trophy and hope to win the Champions League one day.”

Barcelona confirmed their interest in signing Pogba, but he shrugged off the question.

“I am so sick at the defeat that I’m not thinking about any of that stuff. I had a little rest and now there is France.”

I am really little angry at him this is the first time he avoids to confirm he is staying in Juve and that he wants to win CL, it turns out like he thinks we can't win in recent future and its disrespect in my eyes.

Lets hope he was not meaning that.

But yeh, leaves a bad taste. Because it can be perceived as if he thinks he needs a better team to win it (a team like barca).

Still, personally I think we stood our ground against barca. And whats the point in winning it in barca anyways? If you win it in there, is because the front 3 carries everyone, no that you are so good.

But yeh, you win it, yippie! I gues...

He's not that big game changer in big games, and all that hype like he is Zidane. I'd take James Rodriguez over him in heartbit. Hope Rafa do his magic and make him leave Madrid.

And to mention even Zidane disappointed in some big games.

He would be sold for a lot of money, so I imagine marotta would do wonders with it...m. Or spend it all with agnelli in hoookers, barca style

Actually he never said he is staying, or at least that he wants to stay.

I'm getting fed up with this. I think the transfer talk and hype got to his head. He was poor in Europe. If he doesn't get his shit straight, he could have rough year next season. He still needs to put in good/great performances in Europe.

And I definitely don't see the will to remain with us. One more year at tops.

On the other hand Vidal after the mess last season with United looks at peace with the prospect of remaining at Juve. Selling him to keep Pogba would be a huge mistake to me. Pogba will definitely leave soon. Vidal we must keep, he can't be replaced. The only midfielder similar to him is Nainggolan who is a prick and who Roma won't let go away to us.

I think he's definitely going to be sold by next Summer. I just hope we use the money to build a world class attack, and not 1 first team CM replacement and a couple of bench players.
At his point, if he's simply exchanged for Verratti or Isco would be enough for me. There are very few young midfielder with similar quality of his, and these are 2 of them.

I just feel his head isn't straight. Hype and transfer talk got to him, he doesn't seem to be focused enough, a la Vidal in the first half of last season.

He never said he's leaving either. Boy is very upset that he lost in Cl final, much more than us fans obviously.
Give him a break. It was his first real test in Europe, and losing to Barca will help bringing him down to earth. He'll know he has to try harder and put a better performance to justify the numbers Raiola keeps throwing around.

Let's hope so.

Next time when a little guy like Alves, whose height btw stretches to your dong, gets on your back, shrugg him off like a little fly and score.
