"I learned from the experience. I had a good look at the trophy and hope to win the Champions League one day.”

Let's hope so.

Next time when a little guy like Alves, whose height btw stretches to your dong, gets on your back, shrugg him off like a little fly and score.
Would also help if he could start using his 6'3 frame and great athleticism to improve massively in the air, and maybe beat 5 foot nothing people to the balls.

Every world class player wants to win the CL, there is nothing wrong with what he said. As I keep saying, as long as we show that we're capable of competing for it then our best players will stay. Bayern had to go through this phase as well. And if we continue to flop in the CL, after this year for the next 3 to 4 years, then I don't blame our best players for wanting to leave. I think next year will be very crucial, I think he'll stay if we make the semis.

Getting to the final was not actually the hard part, consistently getting to the Semi's (Realistically we can afford no more group stage fuck ups, need to top them or risk getting a potential CL winner straight away) and establishing ourselves as a top 4 team in all respects is the important challenge now.

Actually he never said he is staying, or at least that he wants to stay.

I'm getting fed up with this. I think the transfer talk and hype got to his head. He was poor in Europe. If he doesn't get his shit straight, he could have rough year next season. He still needs to put in good/great performances in Europe.

And I definitely don't see the will to remain with us. One more year at tops.

On the other hand Vidal after the mess last season with United looks at peace with the prospect of remaining at Juve. Selling him to keep Pogba would be a huge mistake to me. Pogba will definitely leave soon. Vidal we must keep, he can't be replaced. The only midfielder similar to him is Nainggolan who is a prick and who Roma won't let go away to us.
We don't need to sell either of them

pogba was in england yesterday visiting friends. one his friends talked about his alleged move to barca and pogba said it's actually manu who approached him.

he said that man utd approached him and he said he is okay with going there now that ferguson is gone. he said they want both pogba and vidal, but vidal told pogba that he o longer wants to leave juve.

is he gonna do it though? i doubt

also, Marotta said we arent selling
Of course he did, effectively raising Pogba's price a little bit more.

Man I don't know, you might keep him this season after reaching the CL final, but eventually he'll want to go to one of those super rich clubs and get insane wages, Pogba strikes me as that kind of person. :p

to be honest I dont think most ppl in the world would not jump at the chance to triple their wages but I think he will stay this season. He knows the more success he has here the more esteemed he will be in world football and will be able to command even higher wages. Plus he seems to want Barca so the conditions are not right to join them given their transfer ban. Next year though will be different.

If we lose Pirlo and possibly Tevez the club absolutely can not allow another key player to leave. We dont want to make wholesale changes to a great team and risk losing our identity and taking time to find it again at the start of next season.
