it´s true that contracts don´t mean THAT much because an unhappy player can pretty much always put enough pressure on the club to sell him but pogba renewed till 2019 (!) without a buyout clause...
he probably could have easily pushed for only 1-2 more years.
imo that shows that he is happy here and prepared to stay for a while. of course anything can happen when the top5-clubs come knocking with mega-offers but i see absolutely no reason to think that he will be gone in the summer for sure.
Oh, the naivety. That shows that Juventus can ask for more money when he decides to leave. It's good for both parties.

in reality a player´s value doesn´t really seem to depend that much on how many years he has left on his contract as long as it´s 2-2.5 years or longer.
below ~2 years the player gains a lot more leverage.
and tbh: as long as raiola gets his huge fee he probably doesn´t really care about how much another club pays for pogba. although i can see him pushing for the "most expensive player ever"-title...

having said that, it´s obviously true that this long contract increases the chances for a higher fee if/when pogba leaves.

Contracts mean nothing in today's football, except that the team who currently owns the player can ask for more money. That's why it was important for us that Pogba renewed, as we're aware of his eventual sale.

I can give you several reasons why he would leave, but I think you already know them.
We don't have the financial capabilities to offer high wages, and we do badly in Europe.

Selling Pogba is not like selling Zidane, times have changed. In the past we could attarct the best players as Serie A was still arguably the best league in Europe, and the best players would still move to Serie A. Now a days it would be difficult to convince the very best to join. If we sell Pogba then prepared to accept to be a second tier european team for some time

that doesent mean much. we wont sell our best players until one of them wants to leave. im still waiting to hear a good reason why Pogba would want to leave in the near future
why wouldn't he leave? I would want to leave if I was Pogba and I'm a Juventus fan.

:sergio: thats the best you got? why wouldnt he leave, you'd do the same? really? im judging the situation by his interviews, and by the clubs attitude towards keeping their best players (we are selling only if the player wants to leave, forgot? Pogba renewed until 2019, doesent seem like a move someone who wants to leave would do). furthermore, he always talks full of respect about the club and his teammates, and how hes thankful because we saved his career. nope, hes definitely staying here the next 2-3 years. beyond that, as i said earlier, is impossible to predict what will happen...

Money rules the world. We lack money to keep and player like Pogba and maintain him addequately. The other option would be to be smashing the CL year in year out..that way he would find a leverage to stay in Juventus because even without bunh of moneys we are being well respected and admired..and he would be able to shine bright.

BUT, we are 2 or 3 years way to be a serious CL contender, and maybe even more. And we dont have the money nor the project to convince him than staying in Juventus is for his own good.

Like someone said..enjoy him while you can. We are Juventus, yes.... but we have no pulling power for this kind of things. Thats the sad truth.

Im not being a pessimistic... you dont have to be a PhD in maths to know that our numbers are just not enought in the Pogba´s case.

The time will come when he will say "Im happy here, and i love Juventus... but X and Y are offering me a lot of $$$ and CL guarantees. Could you match that?". And you know what is coming after that,

he's a good dude though, of course he's going to talk good about Juventus, be thankful and say the right things. But you asked for reasons why he should leave and there are a lot of reasons for him to leave.
