Indeed. We should judge midfielders, especially a DLP by stats. :agree: Heck lets judge defenders by stats now.Bonucci has more goals and assists than T.Silva, obviously he must be better :agree:
He's a midfielder and as you mentioned a creative one that brings heaven on the ground. Well, he doesn't have impressive stats.

What you mentioned about defenders and numbers is retarded, though.

You are making a retarded argument though.Midfielders especially one that plays deep shouldnt be judged by stats.

Juventus doesn't need a deep playmaker if it wants to adapt to future. Veratti would be pointless for Juve

Don't get me wrong... I think Verratti is a very good player and out of this new generation probably the best one (within Italy).

However, I just think Pogba is a player and has much more potential. And it's where we simply disagree.

People are obsessed with registas here.

Verratti can QUITE EASILY play an advanced position. He is a very mobile midfielder and can play anywhere across the midfield.

I remember when Alen said we have a lot of runners in this team and not many creative players. He's dead right,we need more creative geniuses in this team if we are to be successful in Europe.

If in this case,if we are getting cash and Verratti in return, not only we'll have a CM who'll be world class in the future but we'd also be set with him for a decade as he's going to be loyal to us.It really wouldnt be that bad of a deal imo.But again as i said, keeping Pogba is priority here.

Then sell Marchisio, offer Pirlo 1 year contract with less wages and sign Verratti.

Pogba has to stay.

what you said about veraatti, pogba can do too. Pogba started as a deep lying playmaker, then a hybrid DM/ball distributor, then a box to box mid, and now his best role is as an advanced midfielder.

Also Pogba is quite creative. He easily passes some genius moves around, but obviosuly due to his inexperience and lack ot movement from his teamates sometimes they don't work. And this is when he gets attacked by fans here, yet people exepct Verratti to do the same thing, but not get attacked?

I don't get it. people critisize pogba for trying to pull creative moves, but want Verrati because he can pull creative moves.

this whole veratti obession is a case of grass is greener on the other side i guess

I guess people hated Ronaldo too because of his arrogance. too bad, Ronaldo could have become the best player in the world if not for his arrogance that antagonized man u and madrid fans

oh wait

I wouldn't even call it arrogance, he was perfectly fine during his stay here. Now when he had a couple of poor games people say that stuff but I still think that's more related to immaturity on the pitch. When he picks that up he will be unstoppable, what he offers at his age is incredible and it's no surprise his price is so big -- he's well worth it.

You have to let Pogba get on with doing some dumb shit now and again, he's still a kid and the way he plays also brings a lot of positives. I think he does get caught up messing about a bit when the team lose concentration, but next play he can always do something fantastic.

I already sad what I think. It has little to do with him being immature, it has to be with the need of players who wouldbsuit better should we need to change tactics during a match and a better bench.

Ours is a laughing stock.

Liverpool Could never be at the top of PL table and compete in Europe with those shit subs they have. we're in the same situation, when key players need rest we're screwed.

It has nothing to do with that. It has to do with the need of money and better players.
What do you think you'll get out of the 60m-70m? Better players? What players? I mean look at teams buying players for 45m left and right. Pogba is a superstar in the making and one of those guys that every football fan knows and talks about. Players like that don't come to us these days, they go to Real Madrid, Barcelona and City. They have value both on and off the pitch.

And if we sell Pogba, everyone will know we just got paid and will ask for crazy amounts of money for their players. Say we want somebody like Di Maria, he'll probably cost us about 45m just right there. Which leaves what, 20m? What could we get for that these days? I'd rather keep Pogba who every kid in this world idolizes than having Real Madrid's sloppy seconds.

you don't ever have to worry about changing tactics as long as conte is coach.

especially not now that asamiah looks good and dangerous playing as a lwb.

I said the same thing about it being his immaturity but according to DelPiero84 he was by far the best player today. How dare we say he had an off game. It is blasphemy!
