Why would we sell him for so low? I can't see him forcing a transfer so soon; his recent claims that he loves it here seem genuine enough to me.
I just simply wouldn't sell. He has potential to be great.

However, 40 million would be great for where he is in his development and the skill set he brings to the table.

what enron said, objectively 40 mil is a good price, but as far as we juventini are concerned we see him as the big lottery prize, i think if the qataris offer him 8 mil a year he will want to leave at which point 40 mil will look even better.

why exactly can't we keep him till like age 25-27? How much influence does his agent have in his decisions? What if this mega offer comes in (80 million+) and we say no?

He said he loves it and loves Juve, why would he abandon us right now?

I blame our elimination from CL if we do lose him.

I wish and hope to see Pogba in a CL Final, and I hope he's wearing bianconeri colors and not some PSG, RM, Chelsea, or City jersey.

it's incredible how decisive money is in the sport now, and how greedy players have become. if I were in football I would stay in the club that brought me up and gave me a chance to prove my worth. I don't give a shit if I'm earning 3.5 mil a year (which is a shit load of you think about it)

Pogba will eventually leave but I think he's going to return a huge favor whether it be silverware or a ton of cash or maybe even both. I'm going to enjoy his time here for the moment

Easy to say when no one is offering you 8m compared to the 100k you get paid doing whatever you do now.

If you were being paid 3.5m, and someone offered 8m, to do what you love, play football, and you have life commitments in family, properties etc, then you'd definitely consider the new offer, you wouldn't immediately ignore and write it off.

After signing Pirlo for two more years is Verratti worth getting in the deal? I'm thinking no unless conte can make Pirlo and Verratti co-exist.

I don't know whether he'll leave this summer...question is, sell him now in an inflated market and get 40 million, or wait a season or two, bank on him being even better again and hopefully the inflated market stays the same and we make 80 million on him.

For me, we are better with him and vidal in midfield.

Pogba = 40 million plus a player (potentially...if not then maybe more cash)
Marchisio, Vucinic, Quags = 40 to 50 million with potentially a player like lamela joining

I know which one I would be doing.

If we could keep him until summer 2015 when our finances will be in a better shape I'd be confident we could keep him for a few more years.

Why the mass panicking? Fuck selling Pogba, and those advocating it. Big clubs tend to keep their best players, and add more pieces. By selling him, we'd definitely be sending the wrong message, even if we end up getting that pudgy midget koala-vulture hybrid from PSG. Speaking of that tiny fucker, I hope he ends up falling in a ditch, and that while out to sea on a whale watching tour, his penis gets impaled on a harpoon used for whale hunting.

Must be quite large then.
