Barca plays slow paced possession attacking football and they do have a deep lying playmaker with a false nine.
Madrid have been less successful than we are despite having an infinitely bigger wallet.
City's attacking play gave them one EPL and a Cup and 2 CL group stage exits.
Arsenal's attacking play gave them nothing for 8 years.
United have one EPL to show.
Chelsea has one EPL to show and they won by the CL by playing Ultra defense.
PSG has one ligue 1 title and they do employ a deep lying playmaker.

Bayern is the only fast paced attacking team that has been consistent over the last 3 years.
We've done really really well since Conte took over. Our game plan has been very successful locally and hot/cold in europe. Most fast attacking teams have been much less successful locally and slightly better in Europe (considering that we crashed out this year)

The way to move forward is by actually moving forward imo. Teams are finding a lot more success by playing fast paced and offensive soccer. What we do is hard to watch more often than not.
