no, i got what you said. i was just exapnding on your post.

but agreed that his positional sense is pretty bad. it is probably his biggest weakness and as long juve play posession football he has to improve it massively.
So you would agree that he shouldnt be starting as a regista, or in the bigger games just yet, and learn from our wonderfull midfield ?

Completely agree. Against Inter his positioning was terrible. He also needs to put in more effort when closing down opponents. It seems to me that he gives up way to easily. Somewhat lazy.

you wot?

pogba desnt need to learn from anyone. he needs to play his own game and find his own style.

you think del piero learned from baggio? no you insect.
While you are at it, lets just close every football academy, lets end senior player tuition, lets end personal trainers, and lets assume players dont learn from eachother at training

Um, there is a difference from learning and copying...younger players have allways something to learn from more experienced players. Especially when it something they lack and that will grow with over time or need to some guidance on. Del Piero barely played with baggio, but I'm sure he had plenty of subtle things to learn from his senior teammates when he was starting out as a 20-22 year old.

You even agreed Pogba's positional sense is pretty bad, well who does he learn from then? If not fellow midfielders like Marchisio, who is pretty good at that particular thing.

A very good remark. This has crossed my mind a few times aswel, but i wasent sure if it was part of the "nonchalance" he displays.

Hazard does that aswel, but it greatly aids his game

I'll add to that.

Remember during the Zidane era, certain players suddenly trew in the occasional Zidane trademark "marseille roulette" ?
ANd why they arent anymore, despite it beeing a pretty devastating move ?

Well thats something they see and pick up at training. they see the effectiveness and they go with it.

Zidane did it flawlessly, you made me remember. He was lethal at doing that.

Pogba tried to do one against inter and got a nice foul for us.

your logical fallacy is strawman.

pgoba isnt a yoth player in youth team. he is an france and juve player with a distinct style of his own. all he needs to do is play and train until he figures out how to play to his strengths and eliminate his weaknesses.

you dont learn positions from anyone. you gain it from playing and practice. it's not like dribbling, or taking free kicks.

Yup, i noticed he is quite good at doing this flicks. In some way he remembers me Zizou, because both have long legs which they know how to control. Zidane had some very long legs which he used masterfully.

Ofcourse, whats a discussion relating to Marchisio in any way, without Douchens astute contributions...
It has nothing to do with Marchisio. As far as I know it's Pogba's thread.

People stupid enough to dismiss the importance of positioning. :lol2:
Not that, but people always finding something to criticize Pogba. It's pretty hilarious.

There are loads of people whose opinions I listen to around here, but the vast majority of those who I think most consistently talk sense about tactics are ones that would be branded Marchisio fans.

Make of that what you will.

Ofcourse, we start with the simpleton approach of us vs them, yeah I am a some Marchisio fanboy because I acknowledged he is excellent at positioning/movement, woopty doo.

Umm, because there is nothing to discuss about him in terms of things to improve? He is already the perfect player? How is it unreasonable criticism to notice he lacks in positioning so far, jeez.
