Guess I'm the only who thinks he wasn't any better than our other mids. Heck, I even thought he was the worst one of the bunch, refusing to get involved, etc.
I don't like his movement when we have the ball, he's usually too far ahead of the game makings run into crowded areas. He bosses when the ball is in his zone but his positioning makes it look like he's away from the game, especially in games he's not playing regista.

Fuck! Look at the swerve on that.

He seems to be less involved, but then at his age, I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Mistakes are inevitable; he's nowhere near the complete article just yet. Hence, given what is expected of him, and how the others performed far below their usual level, I concur with those who claim that he was the best midfield performer against Roma.

Disagree there, he didn't get involved enough and this game showed that he does need to work on how he moves, but Pirlo and Vidal were worse no doubt.

He can be reproached of not doing enough whereas the other two midfielder were almost detrimental to our play.

He should stop making things much harder for himself and pass the ball. He's always looking forward to do something spectacular and often it doesn't work.

Keep it simple Paul ;)
