Not sure what to think of his performance. My general feeling was that he did pretty well, but I recall plenty of misplaced passes, especially in the last third of the pitch. He also got muscled off the ball too easily at times.

Needs to get a bit more consistent, but I'm sure he'll become one hell of a player.

Did good but he is no Marchisio. Needs to learn, but he's got plenty of time. In three years under Conte he will be a top 5 midfielder in the world.

Did well in my view, plus he did a marseille roulette near the end of the game which was awesome.

He will become a monster in the next year or two.

Last night showed that he lacks Champions League experience, particularly in some of his decision making, however this boy is just 19!! He has time to improve. Considering the occasion, I was happy with Pogba, though has to be more attentive, as he lost the ball in our half a few times. Forza PP

He was great IMO. I saw a confident player who's playing his first CL match as a starter in a crucial away game. He mispassed the ball couple of times but in rest he was great.

he obviously struggled and was a step behind the team in the beginning... but gradually settled in. it could be nerves, it's a pretty big game for a youngster like him. but as the game wore on he grew more confident. such a huge potential here

exactlly. what's more it's natural to expect him to be inconsistent in the next couple of years as he is still raw.

His reactions to misplaced passes were important if anyone was watching. Some players we have throw their arms up placing blame on someone else for not "following the flow", whereas Pogba chased it back down many times. He has a lot of heart. Certainly refreshing when watching the balotelli's and cassano's grow up.

He is as aggressive as dead horse.Very poor positioning when defending, but he will learn.
wel 19 years old and barely first team experience, needing to take the place of marchisio, who has among the best defensive positionning and reading of the game in the world.

Normaly you dont trow a youngster in a game like that, and this proved that you shouldnt, but considering how it went, i say he was goddamn amazing.

Really, in that position to play like that, you would never expect form a player thats only freaking 19

Anyone old enough to remember Vieria when he was 19 and any similarities? Who was farther along?

I remember vieira. He was planing at some crap frensh team back then, but showed nice talent. nothing close to the hype of pogba in italy tho.
failed at milan, and rather molded into the massive player he became at arsenal
