I feel this is the season he should really start showing some real progress. Last season was a step back from the season before, i know partly due to his injury but only partly. Even before the injury he still didn't look as comfortable and confident as before.

We lost some key players this year, time for him to step up and work his way to becoming what he's bound to. I love this kid but the hype needs to be put aside, we need to see his real potential.

i see what u mean crimmy, but gon have to disagree.

he saved juve ass many times. and two of them came in very vital games.

he's the only reason we qualiied from the group stages. we were on the verge of another disaapinting exist. if not for his goal vs olympaicos

vs dortmund home, juve looked very lackluster in the first half after dortmund equalised. then pogba pulled an assist out of his ass before halfime.

then there were his winners and games vs lazio, sassuolo, chievo.

See, stats never tell the whole story. If we go back and remember how he'd have several poor or just average matches and would find a goal or an assist out of nowhere and sometimes, yes, save us.

In 13/14 he was the better player overall, looked much sharper and solid through out the season. It was easy to see how he was naturally progressing from the season before. Last season we didn't see that.

Ok, let's continue this way - Pogba is another very overrated player who can only shoot from the range, will finish his days in ligue 2 in ajaccio

gon have to stop this discussion here, crim., befre others ruin it

as u can see people have no grasp of context or basic logic.
Pogba is Pogba - he never had a good season without it ups and downs, beacuse he is still young and still have to step his game up, that's the only truth. Plus all these media bullshit does affects him, it's undeniable

What to expect from RUS

But anyways, as you pointed out he did manage to find a brilliant moment in a few different but very important occasions. Like Messi did in the WC. And pretty much vanishing through out the rest of matches.

So it comes down to whether you prefer that kind of player or someone who added so much not only individually but collectively as well, as a team player.
What to expect from the people of the north-america, the place where footb..nevermind, soccer is number 1290312093 sport
north-american soccer specialists of tuz :touched:

13/14 was his best season in a Juve shirt by far. So yes, a step back.
Nope.

Last season was his best by far until the injury.

Last season is when he started to look like a leader for us.

I think that Pogba is going to stay.

I feel that they are building this squad of young players around him to lead them to the club's next chapter. He is going to be the franchise player, so to speak.

Just my 2 cents.
That'd be amazing but I'm not getting my hopes up Sergio.

Absolutely not. You should have watched Maradona to understand what a leader really is.

It isn't just finding one or two great moments at specific times. Messi for Argentina is similar to Pogba in that aspect. But carrying one's team on one's shoulders from match to match, week in week out. That's a leader, know the difference.

we'll see this season. you are right that he will have more responsibility this season, but maybe with vidal and pirlo not there, he might thrive under the pressrue of being THE man in central mid

I can see him benefitting from dybala and draxler though. more so then the fairly selfish tevez (not a bad thing). those one two combo to set him up for power shots or through will be amazing. it's one of things that barca does so well that i want to see us do
