I said I liked his decision making and how calm he is on the ball. I also said he did almost nothing wrong, I hardly called him great, the potential is most certainly there though.

He had plenty of touches and it's not like a player can just walk into space every time one of our defenders happens to have the ball. He did his job well, also saving our ass against Ljajic in the box. He defended well and whenever he was on the ball he found a solution with a Viola player breathing down his neck. It wasn't spectacular, but a very decent to good showing by Pogba.

I can't believe you would say he was poor.
i didn't say hé was poor, i said hé wasn't involved
thanks for your view. i didn't look it from that way

Just looking at a player of his age playing with composure and not looking like crapping his pants is a very positive sign.Maybe we wneed to start preparing him for a role in the team because pirlo looks dead to me.

I think he was good considering it's his second game in Serie A.
He offers more than Pirlo defensively. But his passing and vision are not really as good.

Though it's obvious that if Pirlo is in the sort of condition that he has been lately then Pogba is a great safety net.

you guys are hilarious
if this is the standard

hè barely involved in the game in possesion,
defensivly he was okish, didn't change a lot
Pogba is most probably following instructions and did what is required of his role, helping his teammates defensively and keeping possession.
That tackle on Ljajic is beautiful
Nothing spectecular, but nothing bad as well. I will say he did pretty well for a 19-year-old player.

True, Pirlo is not spreading any of his magic anymore this past few games.
The future MVP (with Pogba for the P) sounds promising to me.

Janna why would you wan't to bring this kid down? I mean he looks like he could really turn into a quality player. I don't understand at all. Do you really think he is going to take a lot of risks 2 games into his career? He knows he needs to keep it clean, calm and keep the ball. Let him get a feel for the team and the league first.

He did well defensively and I am quite certain he is instructed to play in that role. I am sure he has more flair to show (and potential for it). For a 19 yo with his second game in Serie A (and this goes for Chievo actually) it was good to see him very calm on the ball.

She just mad Elia got thrown out and her prediction that Pogba won't get any game time has been wrong, very wrong, so far.

 The fact that Conte doesn't mind playing him in Pirlo's position also says a lot.
