of course he is going to say that.

he cant exactly say i'm just here for the paycheck, or i would prefer living in milan but torino would do.

because then the rus and nicholas of this world would go crazy and murder him

Lol people talk oike Agnelli is an idiot but in fact the Agnelli's will save serie A... They have to talk like that for the FIGC to LISTEN and the government to do something mainly on the stadium issue.

We are improving Juve udinese napoli are now sole owners and fiorentina and Roma are on their way. But still... And lets not talk about TV rights... Stupid calciopoli ruined serie A so much...

Giack said this week what he likes about the BPL is that all the stadiums are always full through the entire league....

That a player could be sold for a huge offer is hardly newsworthy.

That applies to virtually every player at virtually every club in the world.

It's still sending out the wrong signals to potential signings and guys already on the team. The fantasy of a prestigious Serie A is still being bought by some big time players like Higuain or Tevez. But with statements like that it will become less and less.
It's going to be difficult to explain because you seem ultra aware of how outsiders perceive the league, but that statement isn't going to have any influence on what a player thinks of Serie A. Even if he praised it, it wouldn't appear on their radar. Competitiveness, size of club, chedda, location etc. are relevant. Andrea is trying to remove the disparity between a club like Juve and Bayern/Man Utd in those sort of areas specifically.

Selling our best players will certainly help us become like Bayern and MU.

I never heard Hoeness saying how they can't keep their players because big / rich clubs want them.

They don't say it but they still sell their biggest players.

holy crap at this mass panic.

after calciopoli, juventus did not once sell, or was forced to sell a single player it considered indespensible.

Chiellini, Buffon, Vidal, Marchisio. they all stayed.

yet apparently according to suns and the rest of the paraniod posters juventus is going to sell everyone now that the sqaud is stable and ultra competitive.

common sense, not even once
