show me an example of another club forcing a player to get surgery then.
Impossible because most players who get the sort of injuries Pogba endured get surgery straight away.

If it wasn’t for the World Cup, it’s almost certain he would have had the procedure done ASAP. A strong club would have advised this clown who it is that pay his wages, suck it up and get the surgery or GTFO.

that’s not true though, multiple examples of pro athletes playing through meniscus injuries, since there are different levels of tearing. He was obviously given alternatives to surgery, which wouldn’t have happened if there was only one solution.

Just playing for our club means you instantly are forced to get surgery
It is medicine and law. By law you have to sign a document confirming you consent with surgery and nobody can fucking make you. The initial surgery timeline was 6 months, now it is 6-8 weeks so the therapy so far did something right and he still may miss the world cup and if he had surgery right away he would have missed this part of the season also

Our club can’t that’s for sure.

No club can (wtf kind of laws do you have down under?). They took an optimistic and risky path with treatment instead of surgery, and hope he gets back in time for WC. It didnt work out, its an injury, it needs to be dealt with the best means possible. Their first option turned to be not enough even as temporary solution, so now go for the permanent one.

Even if he had taken the surgery a month ago it would take most of this year to fully recover from it. Hope for his sake he recovers quick and can make the WC. But most importantly that the surgery is a permanent solution to what ails him.

Happy because it was inevitable he would rush back, possibly play the world cup and end up twice as fucked missing the most crucial part for the season.

Looking at the official release, it was a selective meniscectomy, so they only removed part of the meniscus. That’s good for his recovery timeline...hopefully closer to the 40 part of the 40-60 day estimate thats been reported.
