One of the few players I ever wanted to return. Somehow with Vidal I never thought about it. Pirlo and Marchisio never were a option and for the other world class players who left we have to go back as far as 2006.
I don’t doubt that he’ll do great here. My biggest concern are his fitness levels, but those concerns are bigger than Pogba alone at this club.
Even though there was a lot of hype around him in his last years, he wasn’t dominating games for 90 minutes straight but rather had those peak moments during games that often resulted in assists or goals. I kinda expect the same now.
Hopefully Allegri will manage the situation well. The number 10 is already a lot but I won’t give him the role as absolute leader of the team. And this will be a puzzle that we have to fix and it won’t be a easy one. Hopefully Chiesa and Locatelli are ready to step up in this regard.
Very happy that we finally have a midfielder who’s able to create and to shoot. We haven’t seen long distance goals from our midfielders in years, let alone dribbling past a few opponents.
His salary, especially with the tax benefits, aren’t too much aswel. Happy that this didn’t became a situation where he followed the money.

Problem is the entire team. The team is way unbalanced but we are trying to fix it.
We didnt have even one player who can contribute from midfield - Now we have Pogba
Our flanks had an injured Chiesa which meant Morata was our only good winger (and he is not even a natural winger) - Now we have Di Maria, Chiesa is recovering and we might get another winger - Right now it seems his name will be Zaniolo but lets wait and see.
Forward - We only got Vlahovic for half a season - Now he should gel and play better.
Defense - LB - I dont really know Cambiasso so cant really tell about improvement.
RB - There are links to Molina but I dont know if he is really an upgrade although he could be nice for rotation.
CB - MDL is leaving so we need to see who we get - If I need to place a bet - Right now it points to Akanji (even if we obviously want Koulibaly) - Lets wait and see
I cant really say we now have an amazing team as I dont really believe it but I do think there are some serious improvements.
