With his inconsistency and injuries at least Fagioli should get ample playing time.
You know what’s funny? We’re so used to having midfielders that can’t pass and create that there’s really no pressure on dab boi.

If he puts in just a little effort the change will be so noticeable he’ll be praised as a savior.

Lol yeah the bar is really low for him to come in and improve us.

If he wants to dab around for 80% of the season and steps up in bigger games with Fagioli waiting in the wings, that could turn out okay.

Damn, am I coping?

The only problem is our obsession with a regista.
1000% this.

Nobody is going to give him a pay rise or match his current salary.
Absolutely.

Tuzzers excited about bringing in a guy who's been a massive disappointment and giving him the same money, if not more, that was offered to Dybala, yet somehow that is justified.

He missed double the number of games and had half the impact, but it's ok, so let's shit some more on Dybala. Fuking bi-polar hypocrite Tuzoids.

You keep telling yourself that. Based on what exactly? His past 6 years of dabbing and tik tok videos? Stop being a biased delusional tool.

Yes, we do need a midfielder of his ilk, but he's not the midfielder we need. He's practically won almost everything there is to win (except a CL medal and the Euros), and he's not getting any younger. I fail to see how his injury-prone distracted ass is going to benefit us, considering he might not possess the same hunger, drive, and physical fortitude of years past.

Going by his days at juve rather than the jogba at man utd.
Even at Man U when you look at his G+A+PK rates per 90 (2017-18 was his career high and this past season was actually tied with that rate)

When hes on the field he produces better than most mids in the world. He's just held to a different standard because of how good he is. Imagine Dybala having the opportunity to turn down a club like Man City today. Would never happen.

Pogba
World Cup winner
World Cup best young player
Golden Boy winner
UEFA Team of the year
3x Ballon D'or shortlist
Record transfer

Dybala
Serie A MVP
Hat trick vs Barcelona

Levels.
You're funny. Last time I checked, football was a team sport, or did he win the World Cup by himself?

Golden Boy? You know who also won that award? Anderson, Martial, Gotze and Balotelli. Where are they now? You're listing UEFA awards now? We all know those are a popularity contest, and have nothing to do with skill. Sandeep and Choi Mein voting for their favorite players is indeed the pinnacle of objectivity.

Weak. Very weak. Just admit you're a Pogboi and that the prospect of seeing him back in our jersey excites you and soils your loins, instead of resorting to the pathetic listing of individual accolades in a team sport.

Dybala doesn’t fit in our team unless we play 4-2-3-1. To play that formation, you need excellent wingers and fullbacks which we don’t have. Pogba, on the other hand, can play in any formation.

Bring him and let him derp in attack. Put all our #6s behind him because that's all they're good for.

I remember years ago during his first stint myself and another member or two (@Hydde was that you?) Said exactly that (4231 type system with him behind the cf) and most people here got their panties in a twist thinking he is capable of both.
He will never have the type of workrate and acumen to be a factor on both ends of the field, especially in a consistent way, so to get the most out of him he needs to be put in front where his once in a year meme highlight backheel pass or shot can create some problems for some average defence, that's our best shot with him..
otherwise he is another overpaid fagiot type player and I'd actually rate him lower defensively.

99th percentile among all CMs in Europe in assists per/90. 85th percentile in shot creation, 90th percentile in progressive passes. But sure, once a year highlight pass. You nailed it.
