The main problem I see with Marchisio is that when he is short of peak fitness he stops running, and that affects him a lot because that facilitates the best work he does (box to box, link work, covering, breaking from midfield).

Right now he's not in good shape. Also I know he had some health problems at the end of the season. I expect you'll see a slow start from him next season, then he'll kick on again in Oct/Nov and the counter 'told you so' stuff.
Yes, I agree with this 100%. I was never a super fan of Marchisio because he always seemed to lack athleticism. But then the year before last he came out of the gates looking like he had twice the speed and stamina and as a result he was incredibly effective. But in the past year his athleticism has seemed to dip again and his effectiveness the same.

Sometimes he just seems weak out there, like he's exhausted and loses agility and acceleration. Maybe he needs a couple months off.

Great football from both sides! Ghana though
Pogba isn't really playing to well. Digne is being completely shut down, Ghana is mighty impressive!

Meh, Kongdogbia goal+assist. Pogba is playing a little better but he isn't really standing out, defensively solid though.
Boakye subbed in.
