To an extent yes but there's nothing wrong in their brand approach. They've earned the riches, but talk like their noisy neighbours as if money grows out of their ass.
It's hugely annoying to see them reach one financial record after the other while consistently playing like dogshit for years.

One of those cosmic injustices of the football world.

the denial is real. fans used the "it is not his real position"-excuse, just like we used that excuse for the best winger in the world coman. now pogba played in his "supposedly" prefered position and still sucks.

they have a point with the shirt sales though, if pogba continues to shine like this he will be degraded to the amateur/second team of manchester and can actually sell his own shirts on matchday because he is not called up to participate anyways.

too bad for the guy in the blue shirt that pogba will take his job, but at least this way the best cm in the world will be of any worth to manchester united...

marotta is laughing like mad on the way to the bank

Just imagine what manchester united actually could have gotten for that money. they probably could have bought to proper midfielders that would make their team great again.

Somehow i can not get ridd of the feeling that mourinho probably did not necessarily want to get pogba, but that it is rather a publicity stunt that he agreed to.

It is interesting that he is the best centre midfield, yet when you play him with any kind of defensive duties or even tactical restrictions he fails to perform. i totally get why zizinho and the other pogba fanboys claim that he is a centre midfielder, because if you compare him to other midfielders that are not excelling with defensive duties, namely attacking midfielders all of a sudden his last years stats are not out of this world anymore and players like özil or payed easily outshine him.

pogba just invented the analog to the false nine, he is a false ten, playing like a classic ten but just starting a little bit further back in the pitch.

To add to the fable of "pogba was just bad at the start of last season, because he was coming back from an injury, but now he evolved and is a much better player which he showed at the end of the season", Pogba did not change a bit. It was him not being coming back from an injury or not being fit but him not being babysitted. the moment he got his baby sitters back he performed again. if he actually improved as player he would have started better in manchester but it is a carbon copy of last start of the season where he is as clueless as ever when not playing next to people that make him look good.

Honestly, it's ridiculous how much better our team is compared to United's. No surprise he struggles.

GK: Buffon > De Gea (Buffon is more than a GK, he's a great defensive organizer, leader)
CB: Bonucci/Chiellini/Barzagli > Bailly/Blind/Smalling
LB: Sandro/Evra > Shaw/Rojo
RB: Licht/Cuads/Alves > Valencia/Darmian
CM: Marchisio/Khedira/Pjanic/Asamoah > Fellaini/Schneiderlin/Bastian/Carrick
SS: Dybala > Rooney
I'll give him Zlatan up top. Mata, Martial, Henrik and those others wouldn't fit our system.

Literally one player in United's team would've made it into our starting 11. We're 5-6 years into our project, they're in their first month. United fans are in for a hell of a ride.

that's what you get when you pay 105m for a 35m rated football player but pay 70m extra for dab and haircuts.

hope more players stop moving around when they are in a good situation. stay in your club if you're playing well

For heading east, Hulk will earn £340,000-a-week, a salary bettered only by Messi and Ronaldo. Ditto other recent imports Alex Teixeira, Martinez, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Ramires, Papiss Cisse, Gervinho, Asamoah Gyan, Pelle and Demba Ba, who are all earning fortunes.
Pelle's move to Shandong Luneng from Southampton has catapulted his earnings to an estimated £13.5million-a-year, more than any Premier League player bar Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Manchester United who is only on a one-year contract.
Source DailyMail

1. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) - £18m per year
2. Lionel Messi (Barcelona) - £17m per year
3. Hulk (Shanghai SIPG) - £17m per year
4. Neymar (Barcelona) - £16.2m per year
5. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Manchester United) - £13.6m per year
=5. Graziano Pelle (Shandong Luneng) - £13.6m per year

pogba excels as a b2b mid at juve, plays shit as a dm for france. allegri uses vidal as a "false trequartista" when juve play with a tq. (=even vidal is a better tq than pogba.)

pogba moves to manure. plays as a dm and as a tq.

mourinho, the best coach in the world.

Another world-class performance from the €110m man. Loving how the United fans are feeling mugged off and are now questioning why the club bought him and how he fits in the team. Long may it continue.
Yeah, the have the same depth of thinking as most of the fans here.

Concluding on a signing one month into his first season.

"As for his transfer fee, we know we got fleeced by Juventus, it's a fact, no need to keep mentioning the money over and over again.."

This post makes no sense. Would you be satisfied if we had sold Pogba for 40m?

And you are actually hoping for Dybala in Palermo, Higuain in Napoli, Pjanic in Roma and so on?

Juventus in a bigger perspective; we are the winners on the market. Only a handful of clubs can compete with us and there's only a handful we are not able to compete with in the current market situation.

Btw., let's hope United sees Mourinho > Pogba and that Pogba keeps underperforming.

Signing him back for 50m :beppe:

Will never happen tho. The investment is too heavy for United.
