It seems he will eat a lot of bench this season then... sucks for him, especially when his fellow primavera pals are starters.

He'll get his time playing. Asamoah is a cm backup for Marchisio and Vidal who can't play every match. Conte trusts De Ceglie so I wouldn't be surprised to see Asa as cm and DC as lwb playing together. But yeah I agree, Asa is a starter and he'll surely be one this season.

DC is injured often so he's not always in good shape. We're really lucky Asa is so clutch as lwb.

Paolino created a highway down that left flank tonight. He terrorized their right side all night. Good crossing.

His confidence and initiative with the ball has improved big time from last season, where he seemed very hesitant and not confident when attempting to dribble past his marker.

That even prompted Conte to search for a full back last winter, which ended up is Juve getting Caceres and even Padoin. By the looks of it Conte didn't seem convinced of him defensively.

Thankfully PDC fit in well in the 3-5-2 formation shift, and was a better as a left midfield flanker, cementing his position as a starter.

Bravo Paolino! :touched:
