Report: Boca release Osvaldo?
By Football Italia staff

Former Italy international Dani Osvaldo will reportedly be released by Boca Juniors after smoking in the locker room and taking nude selfies.

The troubled 30-year-old striker, who played his international football for Italy but was born and raised in Argentina, has had a troubled career littered with bad behaviour.

He famously punched Roma teammate Erik Lamela, headbutted Southampton teammate Jose Fonte and moved rapidly from club to club.

According to the latest reports in Argentina, Boca have decided to release him from his contract, which doesn’t expire until June 2017.

He left Porto for a return to Boca in February, but made only a handful of appearances.

Osvaldo left the pitch after a 1-1 Copa Libertadores draw with Nacional and went straight to the locker room, where he was reportedly caught smoking.

This comes just days after nude selfies of the player were leaked online.

There were several deadline day deals that went through on the wire, but Dani Osvaldo turned down Chievo to focus on his music.

The transfer window has already shut in Italy, although they can still sell players abroad and sign free agents.

Rai Sport claim former Italy international Osvaldo was very close to agreeing terms with Chievo.

However, the 30-year-old eventually decided he will retire from football in order to concentrate on his music.

The well-travelled forward is a free agent after spells at Fiorentina, Atalanta, Bologna, Espanyol, Roma, Southampton, Juventus, Inter, Boca Juniors and Porto.

Chievo did sign Nikola Dukic from Partizan Belgrade.

Bologna have signed midfielder Federico Viviano on loan with an option to buy from Hellas Verona.

The Rossoblu also bought Lorenzo Crisetig from Inter and immediately loaned him out to Crotone until the end of the season.

Lazio loaned striker Brayan Perea to Club Deportivo Lugo.

Torino opted against signing Jozo Simunovic from Celtic, as his medical results were unconvincing.

Juventus signed left-back Rogerio Oliveira Da Silva from Sassuolo to join the Primavera youth team.

 That's terrible lmfao.

Dj is the way to go.

But seriously - he already made more than enough money to retire, and if that's what he want's to do, why not.
