Beck, a multimillionaire darling of the Tea Party movement, said on his nationally-syndicated radio show: "There was a shooting at a political camp, which sounds a little like, you know, the Hitler youth. I mean, who does a camp for kids that's all about politics? Disturbing."
Glenn Beck is to "Tea Party" as Hitler was to "Jewish Communist Party of Austria."

He doesn't deserve any attention at all and only represents the views of fellow morons.

The Euro is a failed currency. I find it difficult to believe that everyone who signed onto the Eurozone truly understood the economic ramifications of applying a general currency to all sorts of different economies. All of these nations have no control over the value of their own currency, so if they want to remain competitive with other economies, they're unable to do so. That's idiotic, and why many of these countries are in so much trouble.

What Greece should do is leave the Euro and default on their debt, that's the only way they can truly restore their economy eventually. Going into more debt won't really help matters. But it's not just Greece, it's all of the PIIG nations and that's why it's arrogant to think the EU is working. Somebody should step up and leave the Eurozone. If that happens, it'll be difficult to keep the allure of the EU going.
You forget one thing, the artificially low value German exports as a result of being in the Euro ;). The new D-Mark would cripple Germany.

Fiscal confederation with monetary federation across a variety of different economies = the most retarded idea ever. I agree completely.

Irish competitiveness has nothing to do with the Euro, it has to do with the welfare state and public sector wages. :disagree:

Has anyone read his 1500 page book? I have read little bits of it. His diary is insane...his plan was in such detail, he was obviously quite insane yet he seemed so normal about it all.
He was against multiculturalism, Muslims and believed in a white Norway.
What is funny though is that if this was a Muslim who carried out this attack their would be widespread media reporting of another Muslim attack. Where as now it is merely some Nut job that doesn't represent the rest of Christianity.

Exactly my point. But you will find if a Muslim attacks someone you will hear Muslim stabs a man. If he is a Christian you will hear Man stabs another man.
Indeed... it's really sad.

We think we don't have propaganda in the West because it's not blatant like the communist version, but a lot of the images and impressions fed to us by the media can't be called anything but propaganda.

Well yeah. In Norway, a Muslim is a minority, so they'd likely point that out in the press. If a Christian man suicide bombed an embassy in Afghanistan, I bet they'd highlight that he was a Christian too.

If I robbed a grocery store here and killed the workers, they'd say a white man did it.

Aftonbladet reports: 'Norway police mistakes aplenty' as uncomfortable questions keep emerging in wake of twin-attacks. Full overview here;
http://www.aftonbladet.se/nyheter/terrordadetinorge/article13377144.ab

1. Breivik was on PST list (Norwegian intelligence arm) after buying chemicals in Poland. However, PST did not react, claiming he lived an 'extraordinarily low-key life'. Later PST chief, Janne Kristiansansen, said that 'not even Stasi-Germany' would have caught Breivik.*

2. Breivik was able to place car bomb right next to PM's office building. Statsbygg (Statsbygg acts on behalf of the Norwegian government as property manager and advisor in construction and property affairs) wanted to close Grubbegaten (the street going through the epicenter of Norwegian politics) as early as 2006.

3. Norwegian Special Police Force had to take car instead of chopper to Utøya, as media was on the scene in their choppers before police. The only available chopper was at Rygge Airport, 67 kilometers away from Oslo, but it could not be prepared in time due to 'holiday season'.

4. Ambulances were 'stopped' en route to Utøya. Police had to secure the perimeter before letting any ambulances in to assist the wounded.

5. Police boat broke down. Local police from Buskerud district were standby with their boat, but the engine broke down in the middle of the water while special forces were on their way towards Utøya.

The EU is much, much more than the Euro. Sweden, Denmark, UK are not even in the Eurozone, so the EU will survive regardless of the Euro.

I personally think it is getting ridiculous in Australia, every week it is Muslims this, Muslims that, the burqa hides terrorists, Muslims are taking over, they want to make Australia a Muslim nation, they want to make the rules "their way". It is just insane, I feel like I am living in a Mcartheyist era.
