If your keyboard is the standard type (no extra buttons like the volume), then you could easily clean it.

1. unplug your keyboard
2. Place it in the dishwasher (Yes, Dishwasher!!) in the top rack keys facing down.
3. Make sure that you turn the "heat-dry" off. Also, dont use detergent!
4. start the dishwasher on "light wash."
5. let it dry upside down over a towel for a couple days before you plug it in.
