Someone has to serve and protect. What do you suggest, no armies? We don't live in a utopia.
No, but let's cut the crap then, it has nothing to do with being noble. Most soldiers in history who died were simply cynically manipulated by their leaders to die for a reason that had nothing to do with their best interests. A minority died in a desperate attempt to save their homes from an invading army.*

*Niko will fact check these numbers.

There's nothing remotely noble about either scenario, it's the saddest thing people have ever done. To spin this any other way is disgusting.

Congressman are the guardians of the word ?? UN voted to invade Iraq in the light of proofs presentend by the US and the GB that they massive destruction arms , wich was only a lie to ruin a whole country because the only massive destruction arms that were found was used by US military on civilians.
It was more than US and GB who said they had arms many countries reported the same even some Arab countries

He won't answer to that one, btw. As soon as a point is hit home he just skips over it and keeps babbling.

What is the difference? The suicide bomber taking out a hotel with american soldiers on leave or the F16 fighter shelling a building complex because of insurgents hiding inside it? You don't think that the suicide bomber intends to make his country a better place by doing so? It takes a whole lot of conviction to blow yourself up.
What military was in the twin towers? How many Syrian soldiers where in the mosque that just got destroyed ?

Greece too. That's a very good location. You can connect directly with three continents and you have water for your navy. Should've invaded them. I wouldn't mind Romney getting elected if he invades Greece.
Dude, they have Cronios. I won't wish that on my worst enemy!

Serving your country is noble imo.

A lot of soldiers go into war to get better lives too. It's not a "fuck and destroy" mentality. You get a free education, money, and sometimes even a promise for a better job afterwards. Whoever decided to sign up has my best wishes. Except for the psycho racist ones who think war is all about killing sand niggers. There's some of them, but very rare. And only a percentage of soldiers end up involved in combat anyways. Most just serve overseas and never have to shoot a gun in action.

No it's not and your not being logical or intellectually honest.
Yes I am. And you're clinging to examples that suit your incredibly fragile point, I'm just making the argument that they both suck equally. I think that logic is on my side :)

Why does the promise of riches and a better life make it any more right? Most hit men get rewarded once their job is done.

Do you think I'm against education? Let's fund some education and job programs then, so people aren't so desperately hopeless in life that the only thing they can do to help themselves is join the army. Deal?

Either way it's the state spending public money. On my plan noone is getting killed though.
