AC Milan ask Fiorentina about Bojinov
tribalfooball.com - December 28, 2006

AC Milan have approached Fiorentina about the availability of striker Valeri Bojinov.
The Bulgaria international is currently on-loan at Serie B Juventus, but is regarded well down the strikers pecking order in Turin.

Milan, who have also asked Sampdoria about Fabio Quagliarella, are in the market for a new striker with Marco Borriello facing a long spell on the sidelines after testing positive for a banned substance last week.

Bojinov: Juve basta

Yes, a little.

He is basically saying he had enough with Deschamps cause he doesn´t believe in him and he will look for another club, but that was also Palladino´s case and now he´s happy.

All he need is some playing time and I think he deserves it.

Hmm Boji should stop wining and continue too play and score for us. Just because he is on the bench is pure dumb luck. Zala proved he is good aswell this season and so is Palla. This is Juve and all players for every position are in competition wich eachother. If Boji keeps showing character and not showing winingness ,train hard and shows he likes it here ,DD will give him more play chances because we all know Boji is talented and a gifted striker. Now it's time too prove DD wrong for putting Zala and Palla in and the only person who can confince DD is mister Boji himself. I hope he keeps being motivated for Juve because we will need him this season and maybe next season.

Juventus striker Valeri Bojinov claims Milan want to sign him, but his dream move to the San Siro could be blocked by the Serie B giants.

Bojinov: "Milan want me"

Bojinov has made just five appearances for the Bianconeri this season following a summer move from Fiorentina that saw Adrian Mutu go in the other direction.

It is well known that the 20-year-old wants first-team football and Bojinov, who is still part-owned by the Viola, said goal-shy Milan were after him.

"Milan want me," he told Gazzetta dello Sport. "It doesn't depend on me. It's up to Milan to deal with  Juve and Fiorentina."

But Saturday's Tuttosport quotes a Juventus official as saying: "He will not leave in January."

Milan's shortage of goals this season has been well documented following the summer departure of Andriy Shevchenko to Chelsea.

With their proposed move for Real Madrid's Antonio Cassano seemingly dead in the water and Marco Borriello having been suspended for a doping offence, Milan have turned their attention to Bojinov.

Bojinov became the youngest foreigner to score in Serie A when he opened his account for Lecce aged just 16.

He has been likened to Wayne Rooney because of his aggressive, physical style and superb technique. However, his career has stalled somewhat since he left Lecce in 2005.:cheesy:

DD has already proven to be quite a twit by rating Zala ahead of Boji, but the ultimate stupidity is if DD actually convinces our management to let Boji go...

We already lost Mutu, who was coached BADLY by CRAP...lets not have a repeat performance

Yeah, I miss that little Coke-head. (No, seriously.)

If the Boji-Mutu deal was about youth/money over talent, I hope we're getting our money's worth...

I totally agree with you here, Vinman. Everyone's crapping on about young talent and how Juventus should take advantage of their youth system. However, several of these youth players have not had a true Serie A experience except for Palladino, Paro, Marchisio. Here, we have a young talent that is a proven success in Serie A (to some extent mind you), and yet he sits on the bench almost every game, barring a huge injury crisis. He has not been given a chance by Monsieur Deschamps and to let someone like him go will be Juventus' downfall because frankly, I don't see Palladino or Guzman cutting it in Serie A.

if anyone has the right to whine in this juventus squad it's bojinov. i just can't comprehend DD's decisions, to have dp and trez ahead of him is fine, but zalayeta??? i'm really grateful for this guy he did us some good, scored some important goals but lets face it, he is just crap. never in my life have i seen such a bad striker, he is simply a player for lecce or messina, certainly not juventus. if DD would just give bojinov a fair chance i0m sure the kid would impress the hell out of us all. ffs start him and palladino every second game, or just against much weaker teams, instead of dp and trez. come end of the season i'm sure both would have at least 15 goals and earn their place in this juventus. DD better snap out of it because time is running out and we are gonna have another maresca/appiah/miccoli case on our hands. even worse if a club like milan take him.

:agree: It seems to me that DD is prefering French/former French colony players over others. Zala over Valeri; Boum playing virtually every game over other defenders; allowing Zebina to refuse to play & get away with it. (Could you imagine capello doing that!) DD has to drop the partiality & play who is best for winning the game on the pitch, the serie B title & go on to secure Juve's rightful place in serie A and vie for a CL place. Having little favorites is not the answer.
