Well, last year, Emerson was refined to a more defensive role because his partners(blasi, appiah, tach) couldn't hold the midfield by themselves. Now we have vieira, its a completely new story because just emo and vieira by themselves can hold onto the midfield thus freeing one of them (at a time) to go on the offensive. Adding vieira isn't the same as just adding one player, its like adding a whole new dimension to our midfield.
As for us playing cautious, pleas refer to Liverpool's style that got them to win the CL, or even better, Roma's approach to CL, getting destroyed in the group stages.

So how does this relate to the previous discussion, we were talking about the success the style of play between Roma and Juventus.

You started it by saying we've never won the CL, so what? I never said we had. So I was simply explaining how it was that a club with 28 league titles only had a measly 2 CL titles.

Well winning the league requires consistancy which I can confidently say that we are pretty damn consistant thus all those league titles. Winning the CL is completely different, it requires a good team and luck, or just sometimes luck(liverpool). So by saying that we only won 2 "measly" titles is pathetic, well the best is like Real Madrid and that is like 8? Counting those titles before most of us were born? That is why the damn CL title is so pretigeous, it's not something that you can collect in your trophy room by double digit.

Had he of said privately he wanted to leave, and Juventus made an offer, everything would of been fine, of course some people still wouldnt of liked him for leaving, instead he had to treat the fans and the club with disrespect and come on publically saying he wanted to leave.
