i wouldn't rank him highly ..... but he will do the job which is IMO more important at the time to give more stability in that position

i would bring him or zaccardo alongside barzagli .... and we wont have any defence problems

we don't have to get world class defenders we should be doing fine with reliable defenders.

excactly mate :) we dont need necesarrly world class defenders .. zaccardo is having a good sseason as right back and he also plays central defence when neccesary... however i doubt palermo will let them go both at the same time because there defence will weaken alot... there arent many right defenders which suit to juventus i think... thats why i was saying id stick with zebina and grygera ..

He's been playing great lately for Ajax, even getting on the scoresheet 2-3 times in the last couple of games. I don't care about that but he's solid defensively anyway so knowing he can also score is great.

What number(#21) should we give him when he joins us this week? :p

who isn't?

I'd try to make some kind of swap deal with Monaco(who wanted him this summer) for Givet. A couple of millions in Monaco's pockets too of course.

He'll come this immediately or this summer?

Grygera is a decent player, nothing outstanding but reliable most of the time. I think he's best when deployed at right-back as that is mostly where he played for Sparta Prague. If he's for free I would say usher him in immediately.

today tuttosport, apart from the usualy players have mentioned saviola, who by the way is available at a free transfer, next year we might have a very strong atack if we sign saviola for free, i mean id see saviola and klose working very well together, not to mention ovbviously del piero :D i dont think we should just sign players for the sake of signing them even if they are free, but saviola klose sounds really really intrestingg

Is Saviola out of contract this year?

I never been a great fan of his, but he is a quality pick up for free. Still, I cant see him getting more than 7-9 goals in Serie A. Decent rotational player a la Di Vaio IMO.

According to calciomercato we have a personal agreement with Grygera in place, a 5 year deal. We offered ajax 800 000 euro so we could take him immediately, but Ajax refused it as they deemd it to be not enough. We'll get him on a free in the summer instead.

If true, good move by Secco. "Here's 800 000 euros for you right now, don't want it? Well, we'll take him for free in June then".
