If his free, and he wants to play in serie B then I would agree with nedveds call. His been decent in the world cup (minus ghana). Either way there wont be many players who would wanna play in lower divisions, so if he accepts a low wage and wants to play in serie B then really I dont see why not.

Grygera Uncertain Over Future

The agent for Ajax defender Zdenek Grygera says his client’s transfer situation has changed due to the Italian wiretap scandal, which could see hot suitor Juventus relegated.

The Czech Republic star will now need to decide if he would rather accept a fallback offer from the likes of Sevilla or remain with the Eredivisie giants.

"We have been in contact with several Italian clubs, but some of them are involved in the scandal so we will see how that turns out," stated Zdenek Nehoda. "(He) also has offers from Germany and Spain."

"It now seems that he will start the season with Ajax, but we will see if he leaves or stays one more season in Amsterdam."

Grygera Fully Focused On Ajax

Despite a summer filled with World Cup drama and transfer rumours, Ajax defender Zdenek Grygera says he is ready to go for another Eredivisie season.

The Czech Republic star was assumed lost to Juventus until the Italians were relegated for their part in the Italian wiretap scandal.

Inter Milan were also thought be interested in Grygera, but no offers have landed at Amsterdam ArenA.

"I have no news," Grygera told Voetbal International. "I am concentrated 100% on Ajax."

New coach Henk ten Cate has thrown the young veteran into a duel for the starting left back role with young ace Urby Emanuelsson – which is fine by Grygera.

"This position is not strange for me,” he stated. “I have been there on occasion for Sparta Prague and also the national team."

"I will do everything to fight to be in the Ajax line-up, at which position makes no difference to me
."
