I'm sure Italy are going to love him!
Well, to be honest, I don't know what Ranieri is planing! Poulsen? What for? We have 3 other guys who can play his position. All of them are better or equal to his abbility. We all wanted Xabi, but with Poulsen, we can forget about a midfielder.
On the other hand......why should we go for Xabi, when Zanetti was playing a superb season last year? Same goes to Momo. With Zanetti-Sissoko-Marchisio-Poulsen-Tiago, the midfield doesn't look that bad. Guess we should hope for Tiago to finally find his old class. If he does we are more than set.
The back-line good good players with Mellberg and De Ceglie, The midfield has depth (something we will need with CL) and Amauri and Giovinco give us creativity.
For me, people are forgeting one thing in this whole midfielder discussion: Why should Zanetti be benched, when he was our best midfielder for 2 years????
