Barzagli - Get this man to Juve in Jan (Grygera, Andrade, Barzagli, Chiellini, with Molinaro & Criscito on bench, quality backline.
Bonera - Why? Think I might have played more Serie A football this season. ;)

Mauri & Montolivo - both ok, surely Aquilani better? would liked to have seen Nocerino given a call, looks ready
Dainelli deserves to be in the team his way better then both Bonera and Gamberini.
Aquillina is on great form this season but overall Montolivo has been the better play in previous seasons.

:agree: He's out for 2 months according to Sporting Life: -

THIGH PROBLEM SIDELINES AQUILANI

Roma midfielder Alberto Aquilani is facing the prospect of a two-month lay-off through injury.

Aquilani sustained a knock to his left thigh and was carried off the field after 60 minutes of Tuesday's Champions League clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Aquilani's injury was a setback for the Romans, who shortly after conceded a Wayne Rooney goal which proved the difference on the night.

The 23-year-old midfielder will undergo further tests on Wednesday to confirm the extent of the injury.

He did deserve a call. He is our most consistent and maybe even our best player so far.
But i do understand Donadoni. Gattuso will always be first choice and De Rossi, considering his youth, his wc tittle and his solid performances will be prefered before the others.
In qualifying matches, when only 7 players sit on the bench and one of them is goalkeeper, it will be stupid to have 4 DM's in the team.
Since Gattuso and De Rossi have a guaranteed spot in the team, only one more DM can make it . Donadoni chose Amrosini and we can't say the Milan man didn't deserve the call. He's in form of his life for a while now. He plays perfect defense and, with 2 goals, 2 assists and 2 penalties over him so far this season, he helps in attack.

But if Italians qualify for EC they will need one more DM and if Zanetti keeps the form then it will be a crime not to call him.
True enough. Are you sure, Donadoni uses the same reasoning though?

    suck donadoni's tiny little dong
Erm.. whatever floats your boat .

What does Zanetti have to do to finally get called up?
Was about to ask the same question.... He's simply one of the best if not the best players in his position in Serie A. He's doing everything a midfielder can do.

Anyway, Donadoni's formations to tactics to making subs to selecting players all sucks IMO.

i know. it confuses me how he can take such great players and now exactly what positions to put them in and what strategies to make them play like crap.

Ribery: Italy won’t qualify Tuesday 9 October, 2007

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

France midfielder Franck Ribery has reignited tensions between Les Bleus and Italy by declaring that the Azzurri won’t qualify for Euro 2008.

Scotland are in pole position in Group B after a sensational triumph in France with Italy holding second place by a point.

While Ribery’s side only have to face the Faroe Islands, Lithuania and Ukraine, Roberto Donadoni’s Italy have still to travel to Scotland on November 17.

“Even now I’m not scared because I’m quite sure that it will be ourselves and Scotland who qualify from Group B in November,” Ribery told The Daily Record.

“Losing to Scotland was like a massive sucker punch to me. It is hard to digest and even harder to accept.

“But as far as I am concerned unless the Scots totally screw it up for themselves then Italy are going out and we will go to the Euro with them.”

Ribery’s comments are likely to be met with a lukewarm reception from the Italian camp, which didn’t respond to taunts from French players and Coach Raymond Domenech in September.

Why oh why do the French players & coaches want to talk about Italy so much? If I were Ribery the 1st thing I'd do (after fixing my face obv!) would be ring Domenech & ask how the fvck he can leave Trezeguet at home for such vital games, not wondering if Italy will qualify.

Sadly,he is right, unless the Scots screw it up real bad,Ital is out.
I still have some hope that Ukraine could surprise Scotland on Saturday coz I dont see this Italy team beating Scotland at home.

this Italy just needs a draw in Scotland, but don't forget we have a game in hand on Scotland against Faroe Islands or some other shitty team, so we need to concentrate mainly on beating Georgia on Sat.
