oh and it's still too eraly to say what our midfield formation will be since we don't have a coach. For all we know they could be used in a 3 man midfield as opposed to 4.

I thought we're after Pizarro cause he is a good striker, at least better than Iaquinta, and he stated that he wanted to move to Turin. I don't know whether you remember it or not, as there was a news 4 days ago on both Channel 4 & Goal about Juventus leading the race to sign him with Rangers. I thought he was a done deal, especially when taking into account that he'd be more than a backup; Trezeguet has become inconsistent lately and Pizarro would play a lot. Anyways, we've a point, still his wage would be too much.

Look Lion, I'm not against either Sissoko or Mavuba at all, I just think that it would be a gamble fielding two young players alongside each other. As for the partnership itself, I prefer a destroyer and another one who can defend well but at the same time can share in offence when needed. Anyways, I got your point.

In a Rio and Momo partnership, Rio would have to be more creative with his passing, something he "could" do, but it would require us moulding him into that sor tof player as apposed to the high energy based style he has now.

Both MOMO and Mavuba are great young player..although i believe we have paro,and marchisio which i think are similar to mavuba..so i think getting MOMO would be better,and maybe have Almiron to partner..However if juve could go for someone better than Almiron,i really hope they would go after him very soon..but hey,maybe a coach would be the better target right now huh..?

If that`s true! we need a 3 defensive midfielders and a playmaker in front of them

NO, we don't need to play with two defensive midfielders. If we get Sissoko we can place him in front of the defense and he can hold there while another player like Almiron can move around the pitch making passes.

Our whole team will revolve around the CB's we have next season. If we have no leader and no superstar we might have to play 2 dmf. We might be waiting to see how our defense is to decide what midfielders to get. We need to lock up at least 1 dmf. Anyway I say if we get Mavuba/Sissoko and Almiron and bring back Tach. we will be set in the midfield especially if we have Iaquinta to play some wing as well.

The Rosaneri have marked Argentinean midfielder Sergio Almiron for a possible summer purchase.

Sergio Almiron will be under the spotlight during the transfer market, as several clubs seem keen to sign the 26-year old.

As of now, the two clubs who are favourites to sign the central midfielder are Inter and Juventus. However, Almiron’s agent Claudio Vagheggi has revealed that Palermo have joined the competition to net his client.

"Almiron is on the wish list of many clubs," he said. "At the moment Inter and Juve are on his trail, but also Palermo.

"I spoke with director Rino Foschi recently and we will probably meet up in the next few weeks."

Sergio Almiron landed in the Serie A in late 2001 when he switched Argentinean side Newell’s Old Boys with Udinese.

After a 3 year stint at the Bianconeri he moved to Empoli, and has exploded onto the scene this year, becoming one of Serie A’s most prominent central midfielders.

His forceful style of playing has partly catalyzed Empoli’s terrific run in the Serie A, which saw the Tuscan Azzurri obtain a historic UEFA qualification spot.

The newly appointed Juventus coach has given the go ahead for the purchase of Empoli's midfielder, who has impressed so much in Serie A in the past two seasons.

Claudio Ranieri is already planning the Bianconeri's transfer market and long-term target Almiron seems now just a step away from joining the Old Lady for next season.
