Dont wanna play for us? Fine you dont have to. Off you go.
Yeah, that was so cool. "You might be Christian Vieri, but we're Juve, we'll get someone else." It requires that the club are very good with transfer, and Moggi isn't dominating like before, but I would still like to see them try.

Last season, when most of our starters were decimated with injuries during the most important time of the season, I recall Nedved taking up a more offensive position to help fill the striker gap. That worked relatively miserably, but then the whole team underperformed last season.

It could be come to problems. I hope Capello knews what he does with the offensive player. I would welcome Zlatan, Del Piero and Trezegoal in the first line up and i think so capello do. But then we have only Zalayeta as backup.

How many goals did he score for Ajax last season?
I know your question's been answered already, but Zlatan scored 35 goals in 74 Ajax appearances, which (all comparisons between Dutch and Italian defences aside) is fairly impressive IMO, especially since Zlatan is more than just a "wait in the box" type of player. I think Zlatan will mature under the influence of Capello and players that he looks upto, and he should improve both in terms of his tactical decisions and goalscoring ability.

i not saying Zlatan wouldnt survive in serie A and i certainly wouldnt hope he wont....

but if u guys see the level of defense in Eredevisie..its totally shocking..you'll see games where Ajax/PSV/Feyenoord would dominate game and score 5/6 goals but still have the time to let in 3 goals..its a madness.... and if Zlatan cant score 20+ goals in that enveronment...he should be expecting thougher days ahead in Serie A...but i do think he had all the talent to consistently do series of skip passing 1-2 Serie A defenders ....

But see it this way:......if there is someone who should be able and is most likely to get past Serie A defenders, then it is Zlatan, with his skills.

its that bloody 4-2-3-1 that never worked during the euro

Well IT was more meant as the standard 4-3-3. Which imo suits the team best when we're missing all the strikers.
