im surprised we dont have a thread about that. i actually do not know a lot about the topic, i have heard that Nvidia is cheating a lot to get higher benchmarks. if u guys wanna discuss it feel free. if this topic is absolutely pointless or if it has been discused in the past please delete this thread and we will just pretend it never happened and keep it a secret between us geeks.

I've currently got a GF4 Ti4200. I also heard that NVidia cheats a bit in the benchmarks, and I've also heard that the Radeon 9800 achieves better scores anyway. I'll have to look up some stats when I have the time, but ATI seems to be flexing their muscles a lot these days.

he is talking about gaphics cards..
ATI and Nvidia are biggest these days,,


so , im not that expert about this thing, but all what i know
that gaphic cards are the most thing that can be cheated.
and according to windows magazine, about %80 of those cards
which is in the middle east are not original , and they use only patches
to make them work as the real one.

but for me i think ATI is better
specially that GameCube is using them

I don't really know or pretend to know anything about hardware. I still have a Geforce2 GTS and I'm happy, it's all I need. I hear that ATI might be better at the moment but it doesn't really matter to me, I don't do gaming nor modelling that would need the good specs.

I have an Nvidia Geforce FX 5200.
I would fancy a top end ATI Radeon but they are too expensive.

CM is stats not 3d... Rather a new AMD64 than a Radeon card

im not an hardware fan myself so i wasnt expecting much.

just for the record i have a gf4 MX 440 (got it coz it was cheap)

I got Nvidia GeForce 4MX 440 128MB with AGP8X, I really regret buying this piece of shit...the resolution sux! I'm actually saving my allowance money to buy ATI Radeon 9600 DDR...

What resolution? I can get 2048x1536 on my old Nvidia card, it's the monitor that can't handle it.
