indeed. nVidia have disappointed a lot after their Ti range cards (4200,4600 etc).Those were really good cards... theres no denying that. But since then its all beeen downhill.


The driver cheating to enhance their benchmark scores is just one of the many things that has made me bitter about nVidia.


ATI is a superior product at the moment. And i don't see that changing when the new cards come out.

You can get a new ATI 9800 Pro for 199$ from Ati.com by trading in any old card. - ANY old card.

yeah :D but i convince myself that i need it for Maya animation / 3DsMax etc as well ;)


but yeah Gaming is the main purpose when all is said and done.
