i used to be nvidia thru and thru till i got my 9500 Pro.

since then i've had a 9700 Pro and a 9800 np flashed to a Pro.

Except the FX 5700 or the 5900/5950, the rest are not even worth looking at.

And the new R420 is again on its way to beat the crap out of the NV40...

ATI cards are sooo much better with AA / AF. Its not even funny.

nVidia fanboys will disagree though as always....

wasn't that hard really... i used the Gigacube bios and flashrom and boom (H) i had a 9800 Pro

i got a 9600, and it works like a charm. Its got the video in/out funtions and everything i need. I am much more pleased with ATI and their drivers lately have become really good. I guess you can call me an ATI fan, ive been using their cards since the ATI Rage Pro chipset with 8mb

It's not so much about difficulty. If anything went wrong during the flashing process your card would be dead

Okay sorry Don, i'll answer ur question properly now. Flashing is basically modifying or upgrading the internal software (firmware) that's built into hardware devices.
