I'm not, honestly this kid is the real deal, he's such a cool calm demeanor about him, the Yamal of centre backs. Good passing range, can hold his space and a good reader. It was the prime reason Lille were not too bothered about losing Djalo to us. 50m is steep but I can only hope EPL is too much for him.

I always find it really hard to tell for a central defender at that age, how they will turn out.

Fair point, there's not many that come through at that age, in fact I can't even think of one. Man utd played fomo as soon as real were interested. For me he should have held out and gone to Real for free or 25m. Utd have overpaid but in terms of the player I still think they got themselves one of the best u20 CB out there.

I can only think of Nesta. He was a year older than this kid (19) when he started shining for Lazio, and two years later he became their captain, at a time when Serie A was the best league in the World, and all the best defenders were in Italy.
