Could be smart purchase for them, La Liga top scorer. But still dont understand why Girona would accept it.

Based on news Roma offer player salary €3m and Girona €32-33m, while Atletico offer player salary €2.5m and transfer fee €40m as release clause. That's why Dobvyk more leaning to Roma contract's offer

If Girona would accept Roma package, Atletico could do the same and could still save some transfer fee to pay salary

It's 32-33 m plus bonuses, the bonuses probably raise the fee to 40m. Well if Atleti can't find agreement with Dovbyk then Girona has no choice really. But does really 0.5 m yearly change anything for him? I would definitely choose Atleti...

it's all relative to their life style expenses

0.5m between the 2.5m and 3m is 20% salary difference. thats a big difference for doing the same job.

would you accept a 20% lower salary for doing same tasks? nah man i know i wouldn't

i know you are thinking ohh but they are millionaires it's not a big diffeence, but it matters a lot because they also have mortgages and car payments and expenses. but instead of paying 3000 per month for mortgage on their 800k house they pay 30k per month on their 5m mansion. instead of a car payment of 800 per month on their 50k car they pay 5000+ per month on their 1m+ multiple cars.

Doesn’t look too good, once again how much did they pay for him while on an expiring contract? Crazy amount for someone that is talented and has potential to be a great CB but atm is still an unproven unknown, now injured too.

Injuries is part of the game. But they letting him walk off on his own so doubt is that serious of sm injury.
Perhaps getting a rookie 17yo to play as CB in the most physically demanding league in the world is not really the smartest of choices, even more so when he is under pressure to immediately perform due to the big price tag that nobody other than United were willing to come close to because of entering the last year of contract.

This injury maybe doesn’t seem too serious, but the season hasn’t even started yet and it will only get more intense and demanding from here on.

They would be better off if they just outbid Bournemouth for Huijsen
Or bid 30 mill for rugani

Not necessarily. Rooney and Walcott just to name a couple made their premier league debuts at a younger age and generally coped well.

Gatti always gives me the impression that he’d be a good fit to the Premier League, could potentially strive at a midtable team there or maybe even at ManUnited where until recently they still had Maguire starting for them more often than not.

But at this moment, for me, a boy born and raised in Turin and who read the names at Superga, it didn't seem like the moment to betray myself too".
