i have no idea. he's not young, might have injury issues as you said, might not have the best relationship with any (or more) team mates or spalletti, might be a request from the sheiks to concentrate on the recovery process, god knows really
If true then why would he decline though? Injury?
He returned to pre-season 6 kilos overweight again and just plays about half of their games. Has difficulty keeping up physically beyond the 60/70th minute cause of lifestyle going out a lot and smoking

Enrique didn't give him a chance to redeem himself and just wanted Verratti out regardless of status as 'club legend'. Also Ugarte been bossing so far

IMO eventhough he's expensive I think Real made by far the best move this summer by signing Bellingham. The guy is nuts.

He is gonna go down as one of the best signings ever. They signed him as 19 year old, and he is perfoming like one of the best players in the game off the bat. Its not too shocking tho, he won Bundesliga best player of the year award as a teen.

The shocking part with Real is the extreme consistency with the goals, not the rest all around game.

I actually find it surprised he ended up at Real. Not that I think Real are shit, but seeing he's English make me quite surprised. I thought a lot more money would be thrown at him from the EPL. Superb move by Real there.

Hard to believe that he has 15 more seasons in him. lol

any semi serious player should get out of crapoli. They will never be a big club, nor a club with any great deal of professionalism running it, nor even a c club that will ever build a dynasty of any kind. No truly world class player will ever stay more than 2 years there

I think it was that Bellingham wanted madrid more than any epl move. Liverpool were the only English team that really wanted/need him but lack of CL would have played a role. Madrid already have a history of English players, Beckham and Owen come to mind.
