Afonso Alves
2006–2008 Heerenveen 39 (45)

Mateja Kezman
2000–2004 PSV 122 (105)

:seven:
:disagree:

Bony carried a team on his back though.

But Eredivisie might not be the right platform to judge strikes, for every Ibrahimovic there is a Alves and for every KJH there is a Kezman.

Good points. :D I'll ask the Dutch experts.
@Gian @Janna

What do you think about Bony?
He's great imo, he almost guided an entire new team (Vitesse was taken over by a new investor) to a CL spot.

He'll do great in England, mark my words.

Do you guys think that Sunderland will do better in the Epl? I think they have signed like 8 players. Including Giacherrini and Altidore. The american isnt that good lol i feel like he will score like 10 goals

They don't have much creativity in the midfield and their defense is only okay. They'll probably be mid-table.

There's no doubting these players know where the goal is. Just moving to the right club is more important.

Torres at chelsea for example. Shove him in our squad and he'll undoubtedly score on a regular basis.

yeah, sure. it's not like he was going through a slump at liverpool before too. the guy is past it and has been for a while now with no chance of ever becoming as good as he first was. idk what people keep seeing in him.

Apart from Drogba. Look at the strikers chelsea have struggled to get going with their goals.

but he was also having a hard time at liverpool before going to chelsea.
Form is temporary, but at Chelsea seems a lifetime. You cannot become shiit over night. It's a strikers graveyard signing for Chelsea.

Remember some greats have had it bad there. Shevchenko, Crespo, Mutu to name a few. Kezman, Chris Sutton back in the day couldn't hit a barn door.
