Strootman although being a good tackler really has been out of form for a while now. We're talking about 20M for a player that wasn't even the best CM in de Eredivisie FFS. Oh, I forget to add this is a league were Poulsen is even a good player and Pelle is scoring like a madman, Pelle is a Serie B flop.

strootman is a great talent, never had problem with adjusting to a higher level. he is a douchebag at times. but a midfield with de Rossi, pjanic, strootman is great for Roma.

pelle is a strong striker so he will always be a succes in Dutch league.

alderweireld and blind are second tier talents.

It seems every player nowadays is expensive. Nainggolan costs over 15mln, Eriksen costs over 15mln, Paulinho costs 20mln.

Paulinho for 20 mil isn't a bad price IMO, the guy is clearly a level above the others.
