I think we can expect to see just the two Serie A teams in the champions league next season with Udinese selling off their best players

It means Udinese exclude CL qualifying, and we and Meelan earns more TV pool money of around 25-30 mln EUR for each from UEFA. In other words, we pay Udinese around 30 mln EUR for Asamoah and Isla, but take back some of 10 mln EUR after Udinese is falling to reach CL group stage.

Yeah, it's not that bad at all really. Hardly spectacular, but quite solid. A lot more solid than their midfield last season. And if Cassano-Ibrahimovic stay fit, they can be pretty strong.
