The current coach is Besnik Hasi, he used to play for us as midfielder, entered the staff a few years ago and when John van den Brom was fired last season one match before the start of the play-offs, he got his chance. He won us the title while, at the start of the play-offs, we were only 4th, 8 points behind the leader.
Proto is still our GK, he is 31/32 or something like that so he is not finished yet.
I think you mean Preud'homme, and he indeed is coach now, he is coaching Club Brugge.

My take on Eric Gerets is that he, together with Preud'homme are the two best Belgian coaches we have.
In my opinion, he could indeed have become coach for European top clubs, but he decided to go for the money a few years ago by signing contracts in oil countries and appearently, he likes it there because he didn't return yet.
He is mentioned to be the new coach for our NT once Wilmots decides to go for a job as a team coach, I hope this is true.
Love your posts man, really good stuff. Now that you elaborated it makes me wish I would've watched Anderlecht's progress in the Champions League more closely. You absolutely right tho, I confused them and I meant Preud'homme. Brugge is your enemy tho right? Gerets returning would be amazing. Especially with the wealth of talent at his disposal and keeping in mind how quickly EURO 2016 is approaching us. Can definitely be a dark-horse for that but things can change fast over that time. By the way Anthony vanden Borre is a crazy motherfvcker lol.

Anyone here watch Villareal with any kind of regularity? Should I be excited about this centerback Gabriel??
No, sorry. Vietto has been on fire for them though and his release clause is just €12m or so.

You can follow the EL, we are still in it, don't know how it is broadcasted in your country.
Brugge indeed is the enemy, closely followed by Standard.
I'd prefer to see Gerets over Wilmots, without a doubt.
And yes, VDBorre is a crazy mthrfckr, have to agree with you on that.

By the way, I now noticed that you are from Czech Republic, are there any players worth a look in the league there.
With Koller and Zitka, we had some great players from your country.

Dope, I'll try and catch 'em on the stream or if it's on TV forsure.

Oh I used to work out there but I live in Chicago now, I just didn't change location yet lol. Josef Hušbauer was one of Sparta Prague's key-players last year and he just moved to Cagliari so we'll see how he does. David Lafata is their key player and scores most of the goals but he's old now. Viktoria Plzeň had a decent run in the Champions League a couple years ago and went into the EL. No real players of note that I know of to be honest, the best success from the Gambrinus liga as of late is probably Wilfried Bony.

When i saw Vietto scoring with Racing..i was sure about his potential. Vilarreal will sell him for 20+ millions...

Sadly, De Paul will not get any chance this year for Valencia.
