He is unique, no doubt about that.

However I doubt it's that easy. In case he doesn't impress his value might slice in half. Also, it's probably him and his agent pushing out from the club as it's a once in a lifetime opportunity since he'll be 2nd highest paid player ever.

When Real Madrid wants some player then it's going to happen for sure imo. PSG doesn't have that status but it's the money that you just can't refuse.

Because I'm... not a moron.

Or... I just think PSG aren't morons at this point. With Neymar - Mbappe and Cavani upfront they can only dream about chasing the title next to PSG.

PSG will tear the leage apart this season and probably score at least 3+ goals in every match.
People were saying the same shit last season.

But the guy wants to play for RM, he really jeopardizes his chances to get there by going to PSG, it was fairly easy to get sold by Monaco, but almost impossible to make that transfer happen at PSG.

Monaco last year finished with 95 points in league and scored 107 goals, it's almost impossible to beat that, they basically did what you expect PSG to do this season. They'd give PSG a real run for their money this season if they kept their team intact regardless of who PSG purchased, but sadly their team was destroyed long before selling Mbappe

Real still has Ronaldo, otherwise they would have bought him.

But hell, if/when Ronaldo retires don't be surprised if they buy him anyway, for even 300mln :p the football world is just crazy at this point.

I checked who PSG have sold since becoming wealthy, biggest names were Sakho, Luiz, Digne and Matuidi, I don't think they'll sell Mbappe for anything unless he flops hard.

PSG is going a bit too far.

But seeing that piece of shit of Mundo Deportivo via Fransec Aguilar going all out, all angry over what PSG is doing is a cake that every fans non Barca supporter should enjoy.

They complain about mbappé at 180m while they just paid 150 for Dembele. They complain about PSG spending a lot, while they did the same for decades with no restrictions, and while laughing at other clubs. Same for Real Madrid.

Now they ask UEFA to punish PSG as if Barca abided by the rules in the last 50 years, which they did not, while pillaging every clubs that had less power than them.

Aguilar also takes the right to talk in the name of Juve, and Bayern, while he knows nothing. If Juve had cut all ties with PSG, how come they bought Matuidi from them?

Barcelona is in recovery position, in tears because they can't be an all powerful dictator (with Real) anymore.

Mundo Deportivo should have posted this instead of their editorial:

Who complains about PSG spending? Barca? When did they spend 400mln euros in one summer on two players? Barca never spent that much, don't fool yourself. Or when did ANY club spend that much? Especially if you look at sales, which PSG didn't even have, or they were a fragment of the number. They did buy Dembele for 150 but that's just because they got 220mln from Neymar, otherwise they wouldn't even sign the guy.

Schick > Roma

Done deal

5mln loan + 33mln obligation + % of the future sale.

Prices increased since then.

But it is no different than when Real bought Kaka at 60, and Ronaldo at 100 in 2009.

If it was today, they would have spend 400 too because the prices increased.

In 2009, it was as awful as now, but what did Real say? They said f*ck off.

You can't compare the prices now, to those from 10 years ago. Mendy, and Walker would have not cost 60m 10 years ago. And they were sold before neymar.

What PSG did this summer is absolutely crazy and nobody has ever done it.

Ronaldo did cost 95mln and Bale did cost 100mln. But they didn't sign both of them in one summer.

They signed both Kaka, and Ronaldo, + many other players for a total of 250m+ in 2009

FFP asides, if they had done the same now, their mercato would be 500m+

There is some truth to what this guy is saying, in 2009 Real yearly revenue was ~200m less than PSG's this year, so their 2009 mercato is comparable to PSG's 2017 mercato, they spent ~170m more than they made that summer which was huge money at that time, around half of their yearly revenue.

Nowadays the top clubs are twice as rich so it's only logical that the prices go through the roof, it's not like the number of elite players has increased.

BTW, french medias reported that Real also offered 180m to monaco, and it was before PSG. mbappé refused because he was not promised to be a starter there.

I forgot it was the same mercato with Kaka. Actually...

They bought Kaka, Ronaldo, Xabi, Albiol and Benzema for 230mln euros.

They sold Robben, Sneijder, Negredo and many others for 90mln euros.

Who did PSG sell this summer and for how much money?

https://www.transfermarkt.fr/real-madrid/transfers/verein/418/saison_id/2009 says it's 257,40m for incoming players and 87,50m for outgoing, your numbers are a bit flawed. it's -170m, for a club that was making around 400m per year at the time. PSG will have around -350m (or less if they sell di Maria/Draxler) and they are making around 580m per year, it's not exactly the same heights of crazy, but definitely comparable.

People need to stop justifying Real Madrid. That team singlehandedly fucked up whole football market since forever.Constantly overpaying for their targets and adding yearly inflation in last 12 years.
