I can't get this sentence, it is very general and misleading.
Millions if not billions have died because of what religion taught them....
People died because they questioned the Catholic Church....
Muslims died because of Christians in the Crusades.....
So if the Catholics or Christians in general were more accepting at that time, and were not scared pussies of other religions, neither one of the prior events would have occured.
People will always be confrontational and greedy... those are the facets of human nature. The human being will always want more, dislike some aspects of life, dislike others, and will perpetually do things for their own benefit. This did not come about because of religion or nationalism... rather, it is just the way we have always been and forever will be. Eliminate borders and religion and you have people fighting amongst themselves even more because you'll basically have a world-wide communist state... people waiting in lines for goods and services while the people who own the place live like kings... we all know communism will never work because the human being is inherently greedy.
This whole discussion is only propaganda for people who cannot tolerate religion and opposing viewpoints. That, in itself, is another aspect... or should I say error... of human nature.
Okay, but religion binds people to a close-minded opinion. If everyone has an open mind, then religion fails.
So, did god create man, or did man in fear of being alone create god?
Well I for one believe that religion prevents people from having more orgies and that sucks, generally speaking
