Straight up trade. Would do in a heartbeat.
@AFL_ITALIA gonna be mad torn about what to want. Lol
:disagree: I have a plan.

We tell Roma sure, we'll make the trade. Everyone completes their medicals, players are announced, everything is good. Then, for the meal after the first training session we have McKennie arrive at the cafeteria and start eating cacio e pepe prepared with the finest Fruity Pebbles cereal. In a blind, visceral panic, Roma release him within the hour. As he's walking out of the Roma training facility, Arrivabene pulls up and offers him a contract right there on the spot.

They'll never know what hit them.

If zaniolo is worth 70m then mckennie has to be fetching us decent coin as well. If there was a swap maybe 30m max in cash...even then it all seems too much. Roma need to adjust their expectations...zaniolo had the potential to be a superstar, but 2 x ACLs = massive risk and a huge reduction in any transfer fee.

The one thing nedved and others in our hierarchy mentioned was the players "want" to join. If zaniolo bitches enough to roma that he wants to join, it definitely goes a long way to helping us get him on our terms rather than theirs.

I haven’t really watched Zaniolo play, but I mean, take away the fact that he’s a Juve fan. Is he really someone that could help solve our problems? We can’t take this team to the top while running a charity

In todays market players who barely contributed anything go for ~40mln. 70mln might be too much, and I don't know when Zaniolo's contract expires, but there's no way we can get him for less than 60 imo. Wouldn't be surprised if it's 60 + some player.
