He will have 2 years remaining, but I agree, in a normal world he is not worth 40m yet, but neither was Chiesa worth 60 when we got him. You have to pay for that potential
Damnit, Tuz lied to me again. Someone said yesterday that his contract ends next year :D

Fair enough re Chiesa, I was skeptical of him too. Maybe you fanboys are right :p

He has to firstly stay fit and secondly deal with the extra pressure here. I don't expect big numbers from him but he is dynamic and we lack players like this, especially ones who can play quickly in transition. If Chiesa and Zaniolo are on the same team and fit then that is a dynamic attack alongside Vlahovic especially, or even Morata.

We need someone to be signed to free up Locatelli as a midfield link man for these players.

Nice idea, but Allegri is the manager, quick transitions doesn't compute with him

Where Pjanić plays right now is not relevant. We replaced him with a 'younger' arguably worse midfielder, that doesn't mean I didn't want Pjanić replaced.

Same scenario with Dybala. If we are looking to replace an inconsistent, injury prone player, the least we could do is sign a durable player even if there's going to be a drop in quality.

Zaniolo is barely setting the league alight either. Even Turdeski had better seasons under his belt before joining us.

Very risky signing especially if it involves a transfer fee of €40-€50M. Not a bankable player imo.

Chiesa had his most productive season before joining us. Didn't come with a worrysome injury history either which is the main reason why few of them are against this signing.
High risk sure but you messed up with the low reward part. It's not even about stats. Berna had more or less similar numbers to Chiesa if I'm not mistaken and this guy on a wheelchair has more drive not to mention the perfect fit for Jihad ball.

I'm not sure how long it will take again for Italy to produce players like this recent generation but I'm glad Juventus' name still has some pulling power at this point in time.

He was my favorite non Juve player , at one point i said i would take him over any player in the world , but after the injuries he doesn't seem like the same player anymore .

Can he recover his from ... maybe , but right now he ain't the same player .
