Because Zaniolo has set the league on fire this season.

And Berardi is playing for a reason.
Irrelevant.

Literally the only role of Immobile and Berardi all Euros was to waste time until either Chiesa comes on or Chiesa/somebody else does something for them. Proven over and over and over again to being completely useless on any level above Lazio and Sassuolo, but hey let's keep riding them.

Scamacca, Zaniolo etc at least have a prayer of trying something new

How he wasn't even on the bench is beyond me.

Maybe Zaniolo wasn't ready, but we know Cuntobile is never ready. Another key game, another disappearing act. The Pezevenki "Serie A Legend" has 15 goals in 55 appearances for Italy (1 in almost 4 games!!!) and he's supposed to be their CF. He's the worst CF Italy has had in.... FOREVER! He's not fit to lick Baggio's boots or tie Vieri's shoelaces. The same Cuntobile who also disappeared in the two pivotal games against Sweden 4 years ago. He's a piece of shit.

Berardi is the kind of player you’d buy when you want a useful bench option. As a starter him over Zaniolo is a absolute joke.

I think Italy needs a non-Italian. Deschamps would be good
Deschamps is almost like french Allegri. Switzerland took them to penalties and beat them. How can this France lose like that? Cause France rarely play to their full potential. Even at World cup i remember there were moments but not full game. With the talent France has had they should play like peak Brazil. I remember the 2002 World Cup. Brazil played exciting attacking football. No energy saving at all. Deschamps negative approach cost France. Everyone picked France to win the euros.

And you base that on what exactly?
Common sense, the eye test and potential upside. Retardi has peaked and he's a useful option to have, not someone you can rely on routinely at a big club. He's not the Cuntobile of wingers (that would be insulting to Retardi), but if I was grading players, he's a B-
