What do you think about him being better as a CB? His tackling is great and he uses his strength well. If he can be taught about the tactical fouls and so on I think he could be more useful in the centre than out wide.
It might be where he ends up but I'm not sure he is good enough defensively for CB yet. We have conceded a lot of goals through him recently, I don't think he is as good at defending as he is made out. He can switch off and be weak in duals at times.

If he is going to develop into a RB he needs to do more offensively. 20 years ago it would be fine to play like him but now fullbacks need to contribute going forward. Either he finds a way to improve on his crossing/passing/technique or he needs to develop physically and contribute by being a physical runner who is hard to stop and constantly overlaps. I wouldn't be surprised if he improved physically, it looks like he still could bulk up a bit more given that he is still young.

I would be very surprised if he isnt converted into a CB eventually.

Maybe he isn't good enough headers or something.
Agreed on the CB. wouldnt be the first italian FB of hia type to move from a FB to CB position..e.g chiellini...think maybe nesta was RB initially when he barely had pubes at lazio??? Needs a shit tonne of development to reach half of what those two were:D

He seems to be not enjoying it at this level anymore, second guessing on too many occasions, tired of having to switch players to defend. Probably won’t be able to weather it because of our position in the table

The pressure on the players and team overall right now would be immense. He would be ahitting himself not to fuck up.

Shouldnt be starting anymore.

Another game, another goal conceded through him.

His defensive ability is massively overrated here.
I don't agree with that, but he is struggling right now.

Which is to be expected for a young guy who had 0 experience before the start of the season. In a normal club he would be eased into the squad instead of having to play all the time, for the simple reason that it's either him or nobody.

We bought a RB. Time to field him. Can't be worse.

His passing range is like 5-6 metres. Anything beyond and he'll decide to play to Di Gregorio. He also reacted to the crowd during play, bad vibes.

he should only come when we want to close the game and not attack, he is dreadful going forward. Damn Gatti is better with the ball than he is and that is saying much and Gatti is probably the most awkard player with the ball i have seen in Juve shirt.
