This is like taking a fan out of the stands and putting him on the pitch. He treats the ball like a grenade. Supplies nothing. But what can u expect of a serie B youngster.

We conceded only 1 goal when he was playing this season. In 699 minutes. These are Bremer numbers.
Compare this to Danilo - we conceded 8 goals in the 425 minutes that he was on.

Yeah, it's very early in the season and it's not the same playing against Inter or Verona, but so far we seem way more stable when Savona's playing and we're a joke defensively when Danilo+Cabal are on.
Alen jinked him.

Tuz power too strong.:wallbang:

Least of our problems but his crossing was terrible.

And it seemed like he was the only one putting in the ball in the box when we were chasing the game.

His decition making was dubious as fuck too...but he is a no one in this team...and like you said...the real problems are elsewhere

He's played a big part in a lot of goals being conceded in the past few months. He was beaten far too easily by Karamoh in the build up today. Sometimes it's better to give a foul away on the touchline if you can't get the ball than let a guy dribble inside towards goal.

He's also adding very little going forward, despite being in good positions.

He is just crazy bad and conservative on the ball. How do we plan to make play from the defence if we have Gatti and him there?

He's pocketed Kvara, Leao and others this szn. Still raw but a good option IMO.

What was bizarre is that a lot of build up was through him. He's clearly not good with the ball under pressure. But he's been as good as one should expect IMO

There's nothing raw about it; his play on the ball is sterile as fuck. In possession we're a man down because of him. Others teams know this and they leave him wide open; hence why he's getting involved a lot but it amounts to nothing.

Should be one for the market this summer.

He should learn from this one

What do you think about him being better as a CB? His tackling is great and he uses his strength well. If he can be taught about the tactical fouls and so on I think he could be more useful in the centre than out wide.

The reason why we struggle to play the ball out from the back is because of bums like this guy and Gatti.

Cannot beat his marker, cannot pass, cannot cross, he's not even that good defensively. Complete antithesis of what a fullback's supposed to be.

The only time I see him running with the ball is to some dead end only to see him backpass the ball after all that effort.

I don't see elite talent or mentality in this kid to groom him for the long term. Ship him off to Cagliari in the summer.

Implemented as a starter way too early...he needed time to gain experience. He will come good though.

The team is a shambles and has no leaders on the field.

He did make last man standing tackle though which wad brilliant. He is just bad, really bad on the ball, it's hard to have this kind of defender to play possession football

Savona in my opinion is doing the absolute best job he can possibly do. Imagine taking a player completely incapable of the speed for serie a and somehow he's managed very few errors.

But he is just completely incapable of adding anything to the team and the scary part is that Motta prefers this profile at RB.
