In the last days I read that Motta was impressed by pretty much everyone.
If I'm honest I have never really doubted Fagioli's desire to work hard in training. I'm sure he does.

To me it's that he lacks substance. He looks pretty in a 1998 Titanic way, he does some nice flicks every now and then, scores the occasional good goal, but it's far too little. He is an attacking midfielder and in his best scoring seasons he scored three goals. That's it. Three goals. There's no escaping those statistics.

Absolutely. It’s why I believe this is his make or break season. He’s young but not 18 years old young and finally got a coach that emphasizes quality passing and build up. AND, if we are to believe these rumors, wants him at the center of it all.

This is his big chance to shine.

He needs to train to have a better stamina and work rate. His stamina in Euro 2024 is not good
That's correct for him and everyone on the the team. Better he breaks down now than during a match costing us. Can't train talent to be better but should can stamina. We're witnessing Camp Motta, not Club Juve!

Its not because he sucked in meaningless friendly but hes 24-25 yo, slow and lethargic, gets easily bullied. I dont think he should be anything more than a backup.

Fat Maradona at 50 years old doing charity games moved faster than Fagioli.

Because of the way he drags his feet im going to start calling him Dragilio.

Most likely he will be nothing more than a backup this season, seems off pace and in poor form ever since returning from his suspension, basically a shadow of the player from two seasons ago…

Still think he’ll get plenty of minutes though, hopefully will slowly improve as he can cover all midfield roles.
