Feel for him but he was dreadful today. Even before the goal he was having a poor game.

But that's the risk in playing young/inexperienced players. Miretti and Barbieri also made mistakes leading to chances. You have to accept that they will make mistakes and hope they learn from them.
It’s why loaning them and letting them make those mistakes elsewhere and seeing if they learn and improve is such a valuable method used by big clubs.
Problem with Fagioli is he is 23, had plenty of game time recently and regularly makes errors. He gave the ball away quite a few times today and Sassuolo were so shit on the counter that they only punished one of them.

He has enough experience by now. Just a bad game and retarded clearance attempt in the box.

Barbieri fits the "inexperience/young" player excuse more than Fagioli.

He's played 20 games in Serie A in his first season in a top flight league. Of course he is still inexperienced and learning. I would be very surprised if he made the same mistake again. Barbieri definitely is the most inexperienced.

He gave the ball away a lot, a lot of those were trying to make passes in behind and force something to happen. I can only think of one other giveaway that led to a chance, when he fell too easily at the edge of their box and the broke up the pitch. Definitely a poor game from him overall though.

I don't care about the mistake...Chiellini made them all the time. He is going to have bad games anyway. I'm more concerned that mentally he is going to fix what he needs to fix or let it get to him.

it's ok to make mistakes. not his fault allegri sets team to only win 1-0. how many times have seen this same story.

if you play attacking football and try to win multiple goals u won't have to worry about mistakes here and there.

Too sad to see him getting Allegrified. He has the symptoms:

-Started with a bang but now has a Slump in form
-Starts to make mistakes
-Depression
-Soon Dr. Max will try to attack the illness with a good those of "He is trying to attack when he needs to defend" and some more of "Extra passing session after training".

Hes 23 yo, not a 17 yo kid. He cant be crying as if he missed a penalty in CL final that lost us a game. Crying against Sassuolo is just silly. Move on.
Guy is a Juventus fan.

Everything that's happening at the club that has been hurting us is hurting him. Except he probably doesn't have a space the way we do to make jokes and 'funny' react to sarcastic jokes about -40 or Serie B or whatever. Instead he's directly involved. It's his friends he's thinking about on top of his career and his family.

Imagine that you are somebody all the fans are looking to as one of the few points of light in the darkest season for a decade and a half. You're uno di noi, and the fans expect 10 years out of you as the face of the team. You know that all the fans watching see themselves in you, they see you living out all of their dreams. You're not a Rabiot who we all expect to chase money. You're not a Paredes who doesn't give a fuck. You're not a Di Maria who we all know will leave soon. Or a Bonucci who has done great things but should gtfo.

On top of all this, you made a fucking stupid mistake and cost us a game. Actually we shouldn't have been in the position to lose 1-0 to Sassuolo but that's besides the point; that's where we were and that's how it went down. He knows that he let down the fans, he let down himself and he let down Juventus. This is EXACTLY the type character we need at this point in the club's history. He wasn't crying about Sassuolo, he was crying because of how fucked everything is and despite his best efforts he was the one who gifted them a goal in a game that was basically a must-win if we wanted to push for top 4. He is a future captain and this will be a fundamental experience for him.

Can't believe you would come down on him for weeping at the state of affairs at Juventus now instead of much more obvious people and areas to criticise.

Very common with Allegri , takes very young talented players, who play well and when they fuck up he makes sure to fuck thier confidence up so much that they play even worse, and loose all thier value
But when Rabiot made mistakes every game he didn’t do anything he just let him do and look how it turned out for Rabiot, most confident player in our team,
He did this with Rugani , Rugani had like great 6 games in a row and then , all the game he was excellent and one mistake that costed us , but anyone could’ve done it , it was a matter of 1 cm to be clear clearnce, but Allegri subbed him right away didnt let him play for a while , and now rugani confidence and performs is really bad … Allegri is one the worse coach for young players, if you want them to grow and get really good they need to feel ok and that mistakes will not destroy them other wise they start to play the back (Allegri) pass. Cant wait to have another coach , Allegri is a good coach somewhere so we do need to be careful who we hire, he just dosent know how to get the best of what he has, its easy to play strong when u have mandzukich who plays forward and left back at the same time and u have champs like tevez playing with him, we have nothing even close to it , we have you g forward with alot of potential that needs alot of training and needs a coach that can build a games where he gets opportunities…

Those 3 minutes and 4-5 corner kicks which preceded Sassuolo's goal were unreal. It almost looked like all our players had a bet on Sassuolo scoring a goal after the 60th minute, and they were doing everything to make it happen. It just happened that Sass scored from Fagioli's giveaway, and not from the other mistakes.
