As far the anti-american sentiment i highly doubt the mexican fan was trying to make a political statement. Yes it's insensitive but if you've ever been to a stadium in Europe you wont find anything wrong with things like that.

So are you saying there is nothing wrong with monkey chants and racial taunts? Can't say that makes a lot of sense, however of course I know such conduct is common in stadiums across Europe and other parts of the world.
